We had a local con on Memorial Day Weekend, and of course, I picked up some of Namor commissions.




By the legendary Larry Hama! Couldn't believe he was doing sketches, but I sure slapped my name down for one.




By local artist James Hill. I'm thinking about inking this one myself, but I love the action.

Use a copying machine. Make a copy or 10 and ink them.

My only question is... Why have only mutants been chosen by the Phoenix Force? I mean really... Why none of the baseline Avengers as well?

Maybe mutants taste best? Or maybe since it was already in Hope, it used her thoughts for who to enter. Basically the mutants were welcoming Phoenix and Avengers were not.

Heh ... Well, I wouldn't put it past Namor. He turned on Magneto for just talking smack to Scarlet Witch.

Adam Kubert has been posting little sneak peeks of the pencils for his AvX issues. Remember Shogun, you called his sneak peek that was pulled, of a half sketched Namor being attacked by the Avengers. Sadly, no more peeks of Namor, that I can tell, unless this is supposed to be him. I don't think so, though.

if theres one thing i hate its when they draw namor with pants and then hes barefoot. Looks stupid imo, barefoot should stay with the speedo. Reminds me of animal man's costume.
