I have a few questions, if that's ok.

1. I'm looking for stuff that's not focused on fighting (Naturto, DBZ, Bleach), but rather more suspense/mystery type stuff. I've read about half of Death Note, which I enjoyed, and Monster sounds good but beyond that I've got no idea about manga.

2. Is InStockTrades the best place to find manga online?

3. Is there an anthology title like Shonen Jump for non-action/adventure stuff?

gamble fish is good too. less direct fighting and more about intense gambling matches.

One I would recommend would be MPD Psycho, which is a crime thriller that predates Dexter's premise of a serial killer going after other serial killers with the twist that said serial killer is only one of the main character's split personalities.

Tried the Knights manga already. Didn't like it. Way too grimdark.

Also, why do people keep recommending me Until Death Do Us Part? Yes, it has one dude with a sword in it. But everything else is, like, the opposite of what I tend to look for. o_O

Although I'm not sure you would like it, but Shura no Toki is kind of like that, however, its premise is more of a man skilled in the art of being able to fight swordsmen bare-handed.

Read Basilisk. Not really what I'm looking for. Wrong mood.

Started Samurai 7, lost interest for some reason. Took itself too seriously, I think.

Started the Gintama manga, dropped it because I didn't like the style.

Although I'm not sure you would like it, but Shura no Toki is kind of like that, however, its premise is more of a man skilled in the art of being able to fight swordsmen bare-handed.

Sounds sorta like Katanagatari. (Which I should probably get back to watching, actually.)

I put "shonen sword fight" into Google and Claymore came up, of all things. Take that as you will. X, I think is mostly sword fighting, but I haven't seen it.

Well, in that case, the anime version of Sengoku Basara sounds precisely what you're craving for. It's basically Dragonball Z with samurai set in Feudal Japan.

Siriel got me to read it, it's pretty good.

Not really a League per say. It's a temporary alliance at best.
