Nice to see a main character who seems to actually enjoy going into fights against impossible odds.
Though, looking back, dude got used to the supernatural stuff really fast:
"Huh, city got wrecked by a giant monster god. That really just happened, I guess. Girl with magical powers. Okay. A talking cat? Sure, why not. Man, Italy is kinda weird."
Seriously, he didn't even react to the cat.
Well, she didn't exactly strike me as the most original female lead - sorta felt like I've seen this character before somewhere. She's not unlikable, though.I already like Erica, she's funny, proactive and her Tsundere tendencies aren't needlessly exaggerated.
Actually, it's been a while since I last saw one of those really extreme tsundere. Maybe it's just me and the animes I watch, but it seems like they've been toned down in recent years.
What, the kiss? I wouldn't get my hopes up. Looked like she was perfoming some kind of magical unsealing ritual. That's actually pretty common - heck, Negima made it into a reoccuring theme. I'm sure "powerup via kiss" has it's own TV Tropes page by now, though I can't be hedgehogged to check. Anyway, ten to one that after the fight, she'll insist it wasn't personal and that it couldn't be helped. Also about what happened at the end, i was like " O_o This normally doesn't happen until 3/4 into the first season."
