"I am Shishihime Ikiho! The legendary hero who has lived 5000 years!"
"That's right, and I am a high schooler who couldn't live alone even for a second... and is as cool as the devil himself."
I'm more eager for Accel World.
Symphogear live concert in October....Wonder if I should try to go. Easily the best anime this season for me
Saint Seiya Omega:
That song.
I missed it.
"A real man is rebellious."
So says Kouga the new main character. I like him already. He also has a point. Like seriously, why they didn't just tell him the whole truth. You can't even say that those are the rules because she's freaking Athena. She makes the rules.
Kouga may be Athena's son, going by the first scene.
Kouga likes Saori.
Drawing inspiration from the old myths, I see.
The cloth being a transformation gem makes it like a magical girl outfit, which is funny because I have compared the two before.
Gundam Age:
You lost a lot of cool points in this episode Asemu. The end was good. Woolf makes a surprisingly good mentor for the kid.
That's right Asemu you don't need to be a Newtype. Just be so badass you can kick their ass anyway.
"I am Shishihime Ikiho! The legendary hero who has lived 5000 years!"
"That's right, and I am a high schooler who couldn't live alone even for a second... and is as cool as the devil himself."
Accel World, Sword Art online, The second seasons of Kore wa zombie desuka? and Fate/Zero, and finally, the premiere of Zetman.
On unrelated note: Xenoblade Chronicles will be out in 4 days.
April's being so good to me.![]()
Do you want fries with that? WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM?!
The Insanity of Sasuke Uchiha
The No-Life King was both shocked and enraged when he eventually made his way outside and found Seras sparkling in the sunlight. “Police Girl, what do you think you're doing?!” Alucard bellowed, causing Seras to emit a surprised 'gasp'. “Stop that this instant!”
“Oh... M-Master, I-I was just... just...”
“You were sparkling!!!” Alucard shouted.
The Truth about FF
You know, till now I only had good things to say about Magico, but there's something that's seriously bothering me:
How can they, in a series that started with the protagonists marring each other, use the same, trite " He obviously loves her but denies it at every opportunity" cliche? For 53 chapters straight? Even if it was bit cute in the beginning it's really aggravating now.
With the premise of this manga I was hoping that the romance would be bit more... original. In fact that kind of drawn me in.
But no. We get the same old gag every chapter.
"I checked the abandoned warehouse, only to find it abandoned..."
To be fair, Shion recently had all his memories of their time together erased as part of a temporary powerup. I mean, I don't like seeing their relationship regress, but at least there is a plot-related reason for it.
Frankly, I think he's actually worse at admitting his feelings now then he was when the manga started. Before he was fairly open about loving Emma, he was just very easily embarassed.
"This doesn't look easy. But I bet it is!"
-Homer Simpson
"Optimism through stalwart skepticism is a defect not everyone is lucky enough to be cursed with."
-Homestuck
If you ask me, that whole getting his memories erased thing was done precisely so the author had "justification" to regress Shion character development. Probably because he's easier to write that way.
Oh god, you're right, he's worse than he ever was. And it's horrible.
What's with shonen authors and inability to portray people actually in relationships?
"I checked the abandoned warehouse, only to find it abandoned..."
Yeah. This is the guy that upon getting a love letter from Emma went "Well then, I'll get you a present too. What do you mean a six-eyed crystal skull isn't an awesome present!"
And even after he got his memories eaten he pretty firmly said that they'd make more happy memories.
I'm wondering if it isn't done as an attempt to gain a wider audience since that's the kind of romance they seem to like. Maybe even editorially mandated.
It is pretty damn bad yes. But I'm going to have a little faith here that things will take a turn for the better with the end of this arc.
I took the time to finally watch 'Grave of the Fireflies'. And it was truly a touching story. The children's plight in trying to survive duiring the war torn Kobe was touching and riveting. What a horrible experience it must have been for them.
I don't know how one could survive in such a world.
Sometimes you lose things which you don't expect losing. It doesn't make the hurt any less.
Accel World:
Looks fun. The main character is interesting as far as design goes. His pig avatar is cute.
Zetman:
Some changes. Don't mind getting the backstory right away. Let's face it they have to do this in 13 episode if my info is right. They wouldn't get to that part of the story if they didn't do it like this. Most surprising is that Jin and Kouga already know each other as kids.
On another topic:
I keep replaying the damn opening.
Stupid awesome Pegasus Fantasy.
"I am Shishihime Ikiho! The legendary hero who has lived 5000 years!"
"That's right, and I am a high schooler who couldn't live alone even for a second... and is as cool as the devil himself."
Excellent chapters of Beezlebub, Toriko and D.Gray-man this week!
Nik Hasta: "I'm not a ninja dammit!"
Elewa - SHR3
Respect Killy! (BLAME!?)
Respect the Mamudo Children!
Loved this chapter of Beelzebub.
This whole arc Oga has face saying "why am I stuck with those idiots?".
The Chibi-love triangle is hilarious. Oga is disappointed in Beel for being a chicken. Be like you're dad Beel.
Plot is picking up it seems, with confirmation of Aiba demon powers and Tojou challenging him to a fight.
Yeah, this chapter rocked.
Also Hilda in bikini, I approve.
