Just got back from Sacanime. Sadly I'm going to miss Day 2 of the convention because there is a Warmachine/Hordes tournament tomorrow, and I plan on getting those games in.
Anyway, got to meet Vic Micnogna (Edward Elric Dub, Ikkaku, many others), and Tara Strong (probably easier to list the people she hasn't played), and got their autographs. Missed Vic's Q and A, but Tara's was funny. Someone got her to read an excerpt from Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven" in Raven's (Teen Titans) voice.
My merchandise haul includes a Rebuild of Evangelion wallscroll with Rei and Asuka in goth loli getup, a medium sized miniature of Saten Ruiko from To Aru kagaku no Railgun in her 2 piece from the swimsuit episode, a large miniature of Mikoto Misaka from Index/Railgun that includes lightning bolts swirling around her, a Spice and Wolf Holo T Shirt, and the first two localized volumes of Omamori Himari. I missed the Maid Cafe. I didn't have the balls to dare pick up a body pillow or the Fairy Tail Lucy Boob mousepad.
Cosplay highlights include a guy whose Ganondorf outfit was fully decked out, with orange hair and the curls in the back and the skin tone down perfectly, a Byakuya cosplayer whose costume included a barely visible wireframe around his person that had cherry blossoms hanging from them, a Luffy Cosplayer who painted the scar on his chest, and a girl who dressed as pre-timeskip Yoko Ritona but-didn't-dye-her hair-but-no-one-cares-because-she-had-the-figure-to-pull-it-off (fuck!).
It's quite the weird feeling to walk into a vendor hall, hear the opening theme song to Ro-kyu-bu!, and realize that you know where that's from.

Magi:
Yeah, that's obviously the way to go. Switch all your currency to paper money belonging to a foreign country which you must buy from that country.
There's no way that could ever backfire on you.

Yeah it is nice to have the author acknowledge there is more to war or managing countries than just having very strong guys.
Personally I like Magi's take more. MMM focuses almost entirely on that aspect which is nice, but I am more of an action focused guy most of the time.
Well, I am not, but economy and me don't get along that well.
I've found a fantasy manwha called Dark Air, which is totally loaded with rock music references. One of the main characters is named Mustain, and there are a group of antagonists that include Jospeh Satriani, David Draiman and "Ronny James Padabona."
Also, the villain is clearly Frank Zappa.
And that is awesome.

I just read the most recent chapters of Tough I'm enjoying seeing the flashbacks of Kiichi as a kid. Also this dude named Mikhail is a beast.
Vanguard:
Absolutely no idea what's going to happen. The win one, lose one, and win the final match with everything riding on it is entirely too common *glares at most of Ash's gym matches*. Didn't expect Kamui to win, and the next episode is named after the character of the opposite team.
Still... I really hope Misaki wins.
Highschool DXD:
So I started watching this because of the article saying they had uncensored nipples, which is so damn rare right now that it deserved my attention. Saw the first episode. Interesting.
Then I read the novel quote on the Tvtropes page, which has the main character essentially going "Being a devil rocks!" when he finds out he can build his own harem as a devil.
So I am obviously going to keep watching this.
And Nisemonogatari is awesome. Love the animation quality, which seems weird in a show that's 99% talking, but hey people need something pretty to look at.

Sadly, we clearly see Aichi putting on his gloves and going toward the field in the teaser. So I fear Misaki's defeat is a foregone conclusion barring some previously unmentioned exhibition match rule.
I really wanted Kamui to lose too.;_;
Oh, well. At least he's going up against Tetsu in the final match, which pretty much a guaranteed loss for him.
Suffering is a fact of life. You survive if you find a reason to endure it.
New Soul Eater is out.
Pretty damn cool chapter.
Stein vs. Justin is all kinds of awesome. I always love seeing Justin's guillotine style techniques.
Kid gives in to insanity for a moment, let's see how that'll effect him. His opponent is starting to grow on me as well, she's funny.
And as the battle just goes into overload Gopher shows up. I look forward seeing him getting his ass kicked... again.
...Goddamn. oO
Oh dear. It is on!
