Suffering is a fact of life. You survive if you find a reason to endure it.
Then there's the fact that the 40 tons thing is anime filler only and it isn't featured in the manga. So, it doesn't have "Word of God" to back it up. Or Like how Vegeta could breathe in space or destroy a planet with a minor attack in the anime filler episode, while this is contradicted directly by the later events in the continuity of the manga
Sorry for revisiting this argument so late, but I had to get my word in.

Do you want fries with that? WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM?!
The Insanity of Sasuke Uchiha
The No-Life King was both shocked and enraged when he eventually made his way outside and found Seras sparkling in the sunlight. “Police Girl, what do you think you're doing?!” Alucard bellowed, causing Seras to emit a surprised 'gasp'. “Stop that this instant!”
“Oh... M-Master, I-I was just... just...”
“You were sparkling!!!” Alucard shouted.
The Truth about FF
It is in the manga too actually.
Toriyama is just really bad with weight.
Look at the third tournament at the end of DB and marvel at how everyone marvels at Goku's weighted clothing being at 1 ton.
Yeah.
"I am Shishihime Ikiho! The legendary hero who has lived 5000 years!"
"That's right, and I am a high schooler who couldn't live alone even for a second... and is as cool as the devil himself."

Watched Vividred Operation episode 2. Yeah, this looks pretty fun. And man, the girls got some serious feats right off the bat. oO
Also, the whole "docking" thing was amusing.
Dr Isshiki: In order to unlock your true power, Aoi has to kiss Akane...
Aoi: Wait, what?
Akane: Oh hells yeah!
Dr Isshiki: ...on the forehead.
Akane: Oh. Well, close enough.
...So much for keeping Akane's sexual orientation ambiguous, I guess. ^^;
Incidentally, I love how nothing about this technology seems to make any sense whatsoever.

Again, I'm gonna give props to Shimabukuro for ending the tournament arc with an invasion right in the middle of the damn thing.
Yeah, Coco melting monsters with single drops is just ridiculous. And the the straw-bastard comes and sucks up all the poison. To which Coco prepares to bring out even more lethal stuff.
Every other poison user can just go take a dirt-nap.
EDIT: I was also amused by the organisers telling th guards to protect the chefs. Dude, the chefs are some of the strongest people in the arena. They don't need your protection.

You know... I just reread Toriko and noticed two things.
Firstly, Tommyrod actually cut Sunny's hair. That's... I think, the first time we've seen anything do that in the manga. Even Toriko's double kugi punch didn't break his hair. Tommyrod has clearly ground some serious levels.
Second, I really like Yuda essentially saying; "Come at me bro!" to the Bishokukai.

Beelzebub 189:
It is on in a manner similar to donkey kong.
And Natsume got to show how strong he actually is, which is nice.

Mainly it's the art, I think. Like I didn't really notice anyway of being able to tell when something was a flashback, so there were multiple times where I was reading and it kinda felt like pages were missing until something like someone calling the little kid Teito happened and then I realized. I guess maybe Naruto (the only thing I've read with flashbacks) "holds your hand" by putting the black border around flashbacks, but something like that would be appreciated here, especially if they're going to be frequent.
Also, didn't realize that Ayanami had possessed Mikage during the confrontation where he puts the collar on Teito; I thought it was actually Ayanami until it was stated otherwise. The battles with zaiphon also seems muddled and confusing.
Reading on the Wiki just now about the zaiphon and Verloren I realized that I actually do get what's happening there.
I imagine if I watched the anime, things would be much clearer.
