Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Final Ep:

    spoilers:
So, Rikka became the wielder of the Wicked Eye after watching Yuuta? I should have expected that. Also, I agree with Yuuta concerning Dekomori. Speaking of Dekomori, I wonder how she and Rikka met. I mean, given all the hints, it looks like Dekomori and people like the rest of the cast are on two different levels.
    end of spoilers

Also, seeing Kumin doing something- besides sleep- was kinda cool.

I'm ambivalent towards the ending, though.

    spoilers:
It was touching in a way, but I still felt cheated. There better be an OVA with Yuuta going full Dark Flame, or I might rage.

Buranchi/Branch is kind of a douche. He's also really really fast on his feet.

I'm looking forward to the action to get going.

That probably will happen some time down the line, possibly at the end of this arc.

I can totally see them having a hate-love-hate bromance.

Rewatching episode 50 of Cardfight!! Vanguard made me realize two things:

1 - Dammit, the first season was really awesome. What the hell happened with the second one?
2 - Aichi could have survived Kai's turn if he hadn't broken down. Unless I'm seeing the cards he dropped wrong, he had 45,000 guard in total. (Three 10,000s, two 5000s and Blaster Dark's intercept.)
...Of course, him breaking down was the entire point of the episode, so that doesn't really detract from the story.

I'm starting to see hidden meanings and metaphors in Gintama.

I'm starting to see those living swords and scabbards as human; making the last few scenes of the latest chapter somewhat dark.

    spoilers:

So bascially the scabbard really isn't kusanagi's wife but his daughter. His actual wife Sayako was pregnant when they were separated. Maganagi killed Sayako and is about to brutalize her and Kusanagi's daughter.

    Kusanagi better pull it together.

    end of spoilers

You know, I want to see a cross dimension team-up between Dekomori Sanae from Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai! and Christopher Hatton from Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon.

No one can stand against the force of their combined desu!

Cardfight Vanguard Season 2: Still bad. Though, the summoning of Blaster Blade Spirit was pretty sweet, if only because it was a call-back to Season 1's awesomeness. Shame that Blaster Dark Spirit didn't show up. Maybe next episode?

This is what the preview for the next episode made me think:

"Oh no! The evil douchebag has a unit that's not quite as powerful as Phantom Blaster Overlord! And we see Aichi block it in the preview! Truly this is the most exciting match!"

Seriously. His super unit's power is that it attacks at 18000 and you need to block it with Grade 0 or Intercepts, so no Perfect Guard. Sure, it's not bad but compared to Phantom Blaster Overlord's 21000 +1 Critical, it kinds of lack impact. Especially since it only works while you're at 5 damage, whereas Overlord can be awesome whenever it's required. (And Phantom Blaster Dragon/Overlord had the added advantage of having it's ability be flavor-backed, by sacrificing either it's servants or itself for power.)

Also, no matter how much they make him laugh evilly because EVIL*, I can't forget that the bad guy is the same dude who only defeated Crusher Kyou because Kyou fucked up his guarding by not keeping track of his hand size. And once you almost lose to freaking Kyou, there's just no coming back.

How did we go from the actually intense match against Ren to...this?

*: And not even Ren/Aichi's awesome evil. Just...completely generic evil.

    Kongou Banchou 107 and 108:

Kenpei Banchou is finally taken down and we are reminded that Ourou Banchou and his loveable crew of misfits are still in this manga.

Now that I think about it, Ourou Banchou could have been equally viable as main character. He's got a main character look, he's absurdly strong, he's got a team of weird kooky friends who he'd do anything for and he had an arch-nemesis whom he swore vengeance upon.

He's just in the wrong manga is all.

Also, the Dark Student Council remain kind of unimpressive. Seriously, I know Ourou Banchou is the man but Torture Banchou got completely flattened in an instant.

    Kongou Banchou 109:

This was a radical chapter... and the scale has gone way up... good lord. That's a Raged-out Hulk level feat right there... O_o

All the Banchou got a good showing in this chapter and now it looks like we're up to the final boss fight. BRING IT!

    One-punch Man 20:

Saitama gets more ridiculous speed feats and seems to have done enough to renew his heroing licence.

    Vinland Saga 89:

Thorfinn is briefly reunited with Lief and Canute has almost reached Keitel's farm. I have no idea how this is going to go down...
