well i'd expect nothing less from mamoru. but its worth it. i mean, he's fighting jesus with a broken sword. that's gotta be super romantic in a way.

Gintama is still one of the funniest manga I've read. I still can't get my head around the 'dirty' humour of that sword fight. I would never have thought pooh could be used as such an effective tool in battle.

And again, I can't help but think that Gin and Okita are very different from the swordsman that I'm used to watching. I doubt any of those that I've watched so far would use their swords cleaning utensils. These swords are said to be the heart or soul of the samurai, so I can't help but think that this shows that the characters have a radically different point of view.

And despite all that humour I enjoyed the action. It was thrilling.

I'm predicting that the sword in Gin's butt will replace the blade he lost.

Pokemon Special:

So I don't often comment of Pokemon special, despite really liking it, but I feel compelled to do so here.

Black and White is brutal.

Not in the bloody violent way, but in the 'N kind of has a point and your Pokemon may not really want to be your friends'.

...especially since Ido wiped his memories. Loved that little twist that caused everyone in the village to go nuts. "Big muscular guy, female assistant, and a cyborg doctor with a mark on his head?! Clearly these guys are Barzald, Eelai, and DESTY NOVA!" Ido's little breakdown was tragic, yet sublime, at this possibility.

An unusually serious chapter with some couple-ish moments closes of the arc, and Beelzebub since I think we won't be getting any regular SJ until next year, for the year.

Aoi and Aiba shouldn't feel bad for losing, and they don't seem to. They did good and would've won if not for Be'el.

I just found this clip of Evangelion Rebuild 3.0 and just based upon what I've seen, I am salivating over the official release.

3.0 will blow your mind with how radically different a path it walked down compared to the tv series/EOE. If you didn't recognize the character and mech designs, you would practically need to be told that you're watching Evangelion.

He's showing up in the anime this week. Outside of flashbacks and a split-second in the opening.

Also, wow, they spoil Bookmaker in that opening...well, not that anyone that hasn't read the manga will understand why the screw having a "-" symbol will matter.

Super forms everywhere though. Excellent chapter.
