Yup, I liked the latest chapter of Beelzebub again. The mystery of who and what Aiba is is becoming more and more intriguing. He doesn't seem to be a one time character, but I'm not sure. The strange thing about this manga is that while I'm not sure whether the plot is moving forward or not, I'm too entranced by the comedy to mind that much.

But then again, maybe it's because it's the development of the characters that is the main focus of the story. The development of the charactes has always been the main goal of the story. And maybe every chapter, it continues to fulfill these goals. Or maybe it's just the comedy.

Many may disagree with me. But I think much of what Beelzebub is; is a 'slice of life' manga.

So this has taught me very important things about Cthulhu Mythos.

For example, forks are the tool of choice when fighting Nyarlathotep. Also, Nyarlathotep is a pokemon master.

Furthermore, all the monsters come to Earth because Earth has best entertainment ever. Anime and Manga.

I am unsure as to what I think of the new opening. I preferred the previous ones.

I give points to the anime for not having some nonsense like the new guy beating Aichi's Majesty Lord Blaster deck. And the fact that he apparently ran off with Aichi's deck while Aichi was having a vision is hilarious.
Speaking of which, I rather like Aichi's post-combination 'True Self'. Comes off as a good evolution of how he was in Season 1.

I wonder why everyone thinks he's always had Gold Paladins though. Memory swap or dimension switch?
Either way, looks like he got Kai first. Given the three clans, it's probably a safe bet to say that the same happened to Ren too.
...Does that mean that the main team will be Aichi/Kai/Ren? Because that would be hilariously overpowered, assuming Ren is even half as good as he was back when he used Psyqualia.

They're actually unto the sixth set in Japan or something like that. It came out along with the anime.

They're going to storm-release all those that are already out in Japan to North America in order to catch up over the summer.

Cardfight!! Vanguard cares not for your petty logic that says that you shouldn't release everything all at once!


Incidentally, my friends and I tried out the Trial Decks. Pretty fun, the game is a lot more complicated when you're the one playing and the random factor from the Triggers make every game different.

Finished Shakugan no Shana Final:

Well, it was all in all a pretty good ending, though nothing unexpected. I still can't kinda shake the feeling that the entire war was a bit uncessecary - like thousands of lives were lost only because Yuji/the Snake of the Festival and the Flame Hazes had terrible communication skills. oO

I also thought the ending was kinda abrupt. Maybe it was because this whole season was basically just one huge, world-shaking epic battle to the death between good and evil... but I thought it would have been nice if they had spent at least a few minutes showing the characters just finally settling down with their lives. I mean, considering we've followed these people for three seasons, I was sorta expecting a bit more closure from the big finale.

Though I must admit I liked that Yuji spoilers:

managed to bring Yukari Hirai back to life. The fact that she died in the first episode of the first season and returned in the last episode of the last season was kinda nifty. Plus her death was one of the most depressing events in the series, so it getting reversed was a nice touch.

Finished Black Rock Shooter:

Well, things took a turn for the weird and supernatural halfway through, though I liked that we were given an explanation to what BRS and her fellow weird alternate world emotional representative personas actually were... sort of. Anyway, the fights were still awesome, everyone got their severe emotional problems figured out and we got a happy ending. I say it was a nice little series in general, totally worth seeing. Very bipolar, but I guess that was sort of the point.
