she can control his temperments as well. when his blood is getting too air toxic, she could calm him with the rain. she has the indomitable will to stand up to his arrogant pride. and reallly, isn't that the measure of a lover. someone to match you step for step.

Agreed. None of Storm's previous lovers could soar alongside her. Didn't they recently converse in one of those anthology issues? Namor wanted to leave Utopia but Storm begged him to stay. See, they have history.

Since Storm is so bored with relentless Wakandan capitalism, does Namor's undersea kingdom offer a more liberating alternative?

She'd be able to wear less too, and we all know that's how Storm likes it. In Wakanda she has to cover up her shameful flesh like nowhere else on earth.

    I whole-heartedly endorse this thread.

I was trying to explain this--not the irony-part, but the comfort-part, in another thread, but I was having a difficult time breaking down "feelings." I'm glad I'm not the only one who "gets" it.

We all know there's an Emma-Scott-Namor thing that's supposed to happen soon, due to solits, but I can't help but wonder what/if the fallout of Age of X is going to do to Storm and Namor.

Aside: I liked when Mystique came to in House of M and slapped Wolverine.

lol i support this. I mean lets face the facts: Reed and Sue are never splitting permanently and the x-office is not going to break up Scemma. I always felt that for relationships characters should really have them with people in the same franchise unless u have a solo. So I support this.

Namors mother is dead so no mother-in-law for her. And I'd say Poseidon is a lot more accepting then the Panther God.

    Namor is practicing Neptunian Religion.

The women arent allowed to be with the men outside of the bed room. And she must walk 3 feet behind his winged feet.

The Panther God threw his own champion to the wolves who live under the bus--for Dr. Doom. It's hard to tell where the line that divides "inept champion" and "intolerant god" is.

Anyway, we've been down that road a million times. I don't want to derail the thread.
