LOKI is easily one of my favorite graphic novels ever. However, the animation here was mixed. Some was promising, other parts not so much.

Interesting... somewhere in between a motion comic and full animation? Definitely copies Ribic's style to a T.

I liked what I saw there, seems to have alot of animation, rather then just the stiff "motion comic" style. If this style keeps getting developed upon full animated comics could be easier to come by soon

What i like is that whereas in a lot of Adult Swim type of stuff, the movement of the people is really limited and the actual imagery is also boring, motion comics are limited in movement but doing it with high quality visuals so it creates something pretty unique.

This looks good. It's a real look into the new features in Photoshop CS5 and the overall future of comic-to-animation potential.

I can see this working as shorts. It might be a bit unnerving to have the stiff animation in long-form. But it definitely preserves the original art style, and it does look better than previous attempts at animating comics. It makes you wonder what other artists this style would work with. I don't know if it would work with everyone, but I suddenly really want to see them go to town on Marvels like this.

OK, really, Kingdom Come, but wrong company.

Hey there. Ruwan, here, the Marvel producer on the project. We (the creative team and myself) are really psyched to get this project out there and see how people take to the story told in this method. We definitely had our work cut out for us because Robert Rodi and Esad Ribic did such a phenomenal job putting Thor & Loki: Blood Brothers (entitled originally LOKI) together. But Robert and Esad have been super supportive on this project when we've shared parts of the animation with them. Because this is one of the first comic series given to me when i started at Marvel a few years ago, I felt that everything I and the creative team threw at this this story had to work...and work really well. Hopefully you, all, feel the same once you see the animation, special effects, sound, music, acting, and all the other elements come to together in each episode. Really powerful stuff. End of the month can't come soon enough.

Hope this is even better though.
A lot of people get sentience confused for sapience. Your hamster is sentient, you are sapient. Intelligence is sapience.

i worked Iron Man Extremis and Thor & Loki...and no knock to Extremis, but Thor & Loki is just another gigantic leap we've made in implementing new animation, sound, and effect techniques to tell really great stories in more immersive and creative ways while still honoring the comic book art and writing! :)
