So now every Legion of Superheroes book OUTSIDE of the main title looks absolutely amazing.
Portela should really be the artist on the main book. LOOK at that work! It's STUNNING.

Doom Patrol looks...strange. Always good to see our old friend, Mr. Somebody!
Legion of Superheroes special looks spectacular. Have a feeling I'm going to love both, though!

I cannot believe Giffen brought back Super-Hip.
Curse you, DC for canceling this book! And curse you, readers, for not picking it up!
There's no sense in nonsense when the heat's hot.
I'm not familiar with Portela, but they look exactly like Scott Kollins. Which is not a bad thing.
I think Portela's faces are little more expressive than Scott Kollins... but either way, I agree with everyone else the LSH special looks fantastic. So glad to see the LSH get all this love, what with the annual a little while ago, and now this (I hope sales pick up some).
Also, definitely sad to see Doom Patrol go... *sigh*

Seriously, it's insulting to preview DP when it's getting canned again for, what, the 5th time, not including the Showcase issues of the 70's ?
What's the point of DC providing us with a look inside a title once it's already going down ? Why not a little more proactive marketing before it's axed to get more potential readers ? What am I not understanding here ?
Yes, that LSH special looks great. More Legion !
Super Hip!? Super Hip!? Geez, that is reaching into the obscurity pit. He was from the Jerry Lewis comic from t he 60s, and did indeed know the Doom Patrol- he appeared in the issue where Mento and Rita married.
Such a bittersweet preview for Doom Patrol. It'll be sad to see them go - unlike some other DP runs in the past.
If you haven't signed the petition (below), it's certainly not too late.....

Thank you, God, or Zeus, or Thor, or Yemanja, or the Force, or the Great Void, for giving Paul Levitz and the Legion back to each other.
