The fan who suggested Stuart Immonen - An artist who has had a career probably as long and more varied than Bagley - sucks and made him sound like some new guy Bendis got off the street, that guy need taking out back and having some sense knocked into him.

Matt Fraction introduced himself as the writer of books like "Avengers", "Invincible Iron Man", "Thor" and said that he is currently "architecting the shit out of 'Fear Itself,' which destroys everything you know and love."

Maybe like with the Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men crossover, he'll be writing a couple issues of Avengers during Fear Itself?

I'm pretty sure the guy was asking about LaFuente.

What's missing is that before Fraction gets his introduction, Bendis gets his and since he's got so many Avengers titles, that Fraction introduced all of his books as Avengers titles, as in Avengers: Thor and Avengers: Iron Man.

Panel wasn't that rad. You couldn't hear from the PA very good. No one but Bendis speaks into a mic properly. But at least it had information. I had gone to the DC panel the day before and they would not announce anything or give any information. Harris only said, "Keep reading!" for every answer with a couple of, "Maybe...maybe nots" mixed in for good measure.

    Default Missed opportunities

It seems like both DC and Marvel are missing an opportunity to use conventions as a way of drumming up excitement for future product. The companies release teaser artwork for interviews like "Cup of Joe" on CBR. Why not show slides of future artwork at the conventions?

Matt Fraction was asked what "Fear Itself" is actually about. "The Red Skull discovers that Odin isn't the All Father. She frees him and is transformed into a deity for it," said the writer. The rest of the panel took comedic issue at this uncharacteristic news item in the Q and A session and chuckled at Fraction's choice.

Yea, Matt Fraction is officially the worst Thor writer in history. That right right there.....words fail me.

I can't even begin describing how much continuity that would have to ignore. We've actually seen detailed flashbacks of Asgard's history. I would be extremely hesitant in trusting someone like Simonson writing that revelation, much less Fraction.

I know now how X-men fans felt and how Hulk fans felt with Loeb. It sucks when you're afraid to read books of your own favorite character(s).
