Well, this is depressing news to start the day.
David leaves B.R.P.D. after an amazing 50+ issues stint, and Darkhorse have an exciting new talent to take over the book from him.
That doesn't seem depressing to me, at all.
Based on the sample of Mr. Cook's work in the article, it looks like the series is in good hands. I wish him the best on a long run.
Nobody draws monsters quite like Guy Davis. I love the guy (and now have no escuse to not be reading The Marquis).
Of course, considering Mike and co. have picked a uniformly excellent team of fellows to do the Hellboy-universe (are we really saying "Mignolaverse?") titles I suspect I'll love the new guy too, but he sure has big shoes to fill.
