What, they couldn't change up Cold's costume just a little bit?

Because that's what it was like during the Silver Age, which we all know is by far the best era of comicdom ever. I mean, just imagine Captain Cold in a modern costume; he'd either look too much like a version of Mr. Freeze, or he'd be wielding a katana, covered in pouches with little pointy Liefeld feet.

Ooh, the 100 bullets guys are working on a batman mini? NICE! I'm tired of having most events tie-in being HORRIBLE. I hope flashpoint can change that trend.

I must say, given Captain Cold's history, he does seem like a partial good guy when motivatived the right way.

I am interested to see just how Batman get messed up by the events of Flashpoints.

The covers look good so far and I can't wait to see the rest of the mini covers for this event.

    Brian Azzarello writing Batman, interesting...

And Geoff Johns is not writing the Captain Cold mini... what gives? I'm not surprised by Scott Kolins doing the art, but I am surprised that he's writing it as well.

This is where I think DC goes wrong. Great ideas but mediocre creative teams. None of the creative teams anounced have a record of setting the sales chart alight.

I don't think anyone is really clammoring for books by these creative teams either. Add into that Bedard and Abnett and Lanning (who is actually the best of the bunch) and so far Im feeling a bit meh about the whole Flashpoint tie ins.

Give me Andreyko, Morrison, Johns, Gates, Cornell, Tomasi, Lemar, Simone. Even old school like Levits, PAD, Stern, Jurgens, Byrne and Claremont.

Let's not jump the gun yet, we only know the creative teams on three of the total, what, fifteen?

So far the only potential misfire here is the Deathstroke mini, imo.

Does anyone know who was responsible for the First Wave delays because if it was Az, that Batman book is never coming out!

But, seriously, I wonder where this is all going, so at least, for me, that's a win.

I think the First Wave delay had to do with Rags Morales taking a while to get the pencils done.

    Citizen Cold? Love it.

Wait and see approach indeed...and we don't have to wait long for the next 5 either since they are going to be announced today.
