The biggest thing I came away with: Remender has a defined 17-issue, five-part story planned.

This all hinges on Mark Brooks finding some way to maintain the established tone of the book. I'm really disappointed to see versions of Jean and Nightcrawler again because even their alternate versions are dull.

What was that bit about Nightcrawler being raised in Hell? Is that from the 10th Anniversary shitstorm? I don't remember that from the original crossover.

Maybe he means "figurative" Hell? It was never stated in AoA or the AoA 2005 mini that he was raised in hell

OK. That makes sense, but I tried to purge the memory of the 10th Anniversary shitstorm and wouldn't be surprised if they shoehorned Azazel and Kiwi Black into AOA lore, even as a casual line of dialog.

I actually agree with you. Mark Brooks better not fuck up the tone of the book

And I hope Remender isnt just plotted out till 17 because thats all he wants to do.

No way, Forever Jean was the top character of 2010 for me.

I hope Remender is still on the book by issue 17.

Not only is Wolverine going to meet up with AoA Jean and AoA Kurt (who’s completely different from 616 Kurt, but still awesome) He’s going to have to work with AoA Sabertooth, Silver Samurai, Kirika, and Magneto.

I'm kinda hoping there's a AoA Daken just so Wolverine's mind will implode.

Bendis announced at the start of New Avengers that he had 500 issues planned out. Did you believe him?

I would enjoy watching that play out on CBR.

Does anyone think AoA Kurt could come back to 616 allowing Marvel to leave the original Kurt dead for good?

Yes, totally. I imagine those issues have everyone just sitting around talking about nothing with several Hood appears sprinkled in to add the ever so minimal amount of action to the mix.

Marvel has to do this so they don't lose the trademark on Nightcrawler, right?
