I've known of him for awhile now but his appearance in Journey Into Mystery was the first thing that I've read with him.

Nah, they just had the same name. Straw Man just changed his name to differentiate himself from said the criminally insane one. Even said it him...er...itself.

I only remember Marvel's Scarecrow for teaming with DC's Scarecrow during the Marvel vs. DC thing.

The new name, 'Straw Man' sounds pretty terrible. It makes him sound like a caricature of someone with certain viewpoints that a writer/pundit/talking head wants to appear weak/ridiculous/not knowing what he's talking about.

I got your initial response. And I got Joe Acro's request that I reserve credit space despite the fact that I was waiting on a few epilogues (She-Hulk's in particular). Aside from that, I haven't received any PMs in the past few days. I've cleaned out my PM box, though.

Indeed. Well, I suppose I should have seen it coming. But really, when Joe said he wanted something special at the end, I honestly didn't know what to expect.

Idea wheels keep churning .... I may pitch this as the next Halloween special, if not a Traitor Tale....

Everyone must play as the combo of a spellcaster/magic user or psychic or occult character with another character to serve as your spellcaster's paladin in the netherworld. Your "paladin" character will travel to the Netherworld to face down the darkness, while your magic user character will participate in the seance. If your paladin character gets killed, your spellcaster will spontaneously combust.

Plus, if you can't think of a magic user you want to play, or you prefer not to do a dual performance, I can assign a spellcaster for you.

Is this game still on the agenda, either for Halloween or sooner? I have a couple of characters in mind.

I've also thought of a pair for the Exiles TG. One is a reprise, the other is someone new.

Yep, depending on how long the preceding TG goes, it should be set for October/Early November.
