Heh, I thought I should take a place that would be familiar to a number of people.

Plus mansions are cool.

Well, I can't say I'm familiar with that particular mansion, but it definately looks cool.

Well, I had a more elaborate prologue this time than I've had in a while. After discarding some other ideas, I went with the trial scenario. I certainly have had fun writing it. And of all the scenarios I came up with, this was, I felt, the best way of bringing the characters together.

The 'music' bits there are for those who'd like to picture it in their minds as an Ace Attorney game. Sadly, I don't have the photo-manipulation skills to create a Betty Brant Ace Attorney-style sprite and place her at the witness stand. But I did the best I could with what I had.

I wonder how many will catch the signifigance of the name of the person Jameson is accused of murdering.

Now, to others' prologues ... Indigo Al, I did NOT see that coming at all. Quite a dark twist there. I was under the impression you were going to give us Golden Oldie from the infamous Assistant Editors' Month issue of Marvel Team-Up. Quite a swerve, there.

And Opalord, you have an interesting idea here, with Godot being paired with the guy he was prosecuting in his trial.

I still think that Dimensional Man looks like Rorschach, though. Reminds me of the silly 'resemblance' gags we used to do. :)

Thanks! I knew I wanted to do a Brood Queen and an Alien Queen - the question was, who should be the host. And I thought Aunt May might be a funny choice. It's no different than a "What If Aunt May became Venom" scenario. And I'd like to see Golden Oldie in the games in some capacity down the line.

If I may make a suggestion, you should take her from a time much later after the changing event, that way we can see the ramifications of an Earth where Madelyne Pryor never became the Goblin Queen.

I'm not sure. Taking Maddie from a later time might work; but a Madelyne who "never became the Goblin Queen," never succumbed to temptation, would be too much of a Mary Sue--or a Goody Two-Shoes. I'd prefer to play her as a woman who fell into darkness but fought her way back to the light for love of her child.

I don't want to be the King of Shooting Down Ideas™ (just ask Purp how good I am at it), but if you're looking to play the Earth-616 version, I'm afraid that's not going to happen.

Question - I just found out about these Traitor Games the other day, and I'm interested in trying one out. While I do see that the current one is already underway, does anybody know when these typically end and begin?

Also, on a note of me being a n00b, is there some requirement before I can edit my profile and avatar?

No, there's no requirement, but some people use avatars of their characters as a sort of visual reminder of who they're playing in the game.

The current game is in the 'prologue/meet and greet' phase, where we're introduced to the characters. It's there that the characters find themselves in the setting of the game, and meet each other.
