I like Winick. I think his arc will be an improvement from what we've been getting recently.
Winick's take on Jason Todd has been very enjoyable for me (outside of the whole "he had sex with Talia" thing. That was just a bit over the top...) I can not wait to see this arc.
All New Spider-Man, Superior Spider-Man, Avenging Spider-Man
Does Tomasi come back after Winick? I'm confused. Is it just going to be a new creative team and story arc every three issues? What is going on! I just want a little stability on Batman and Robin, please!
Arrrrrgh, I kind of don't want him to keep changing outfits again and again. I still don't really like the "he is irredeemable" aspect. Approaching this with excitement mixed with nerves and trepidation...
Though.... I know Winick likes to joke around, so is he joking about this, idk ahhhh~ /wrists
Also Jason + David Bowie = greatest combo ever.
BUT I am very excited about this:
And this made me laugh:I will say, the three of them are brought together and will have to fight together, which surprises them all. I always like when a common enemy brings people together. Jason is a bad guy. I do Jason as a villain—a villain with very, very close ties to the home set which makes him way more difficult, and also heartbreaking. I very much look forward to the compelling aspect of them fighting side-by-side for even just a little while.
Shoutout to da ladieeeeez~I like him. And I’m quite pleased by how many readers have taken to him in an odd way.
Including, it seems, a lot of our fangirls. Which is sort of fun. I like the loud contingent of female readers who seem to like Jason. That I think is very, very cool![]()

What I want to know is when the hell are we going to get a resolution from that final cliffhanger from Long Shadows? The one where Dick finds the flash drive and there's some sort of secret?
I WANT ANSWERS, WINICK!
I'd totally forgotten about this. I guess that plotline's a holdover from when Winick was going to be the writer on Batman.
Speaking of creative team changes, what's up with this book, anyway?First Tomasi was announced as the new writer, then Paul Cornell got brought in to do a three-issue run before Tomasi could even get started, and now Tomasi's off the book again? Consistency is all I ask!
Also, speaking of David Bowie, if we're getting another costume change, does that mean for Jason's next costume change he might be looking like this:
Rebel, rebel~
Aw, I'm gonna miss the Red Hood biker outfit.
That said I do find it funny that Jason's going to be challenging Kyle Rayner for costume variance.
I just...
I'm glad there are so many different bat-books to choose from.
Don't worry.
My brother and sister of the atom.
We are the X-men, and we stand together
I never liked Jason Todd. He's had more changes to his story than Hawkman. First just a copy of Dick. Then REVISED a street punk. Then his mom is alive...the best thing about him was that he actually died, killed by Joker. Outside of the lame 800 number, the moment was poignant and powerful. Of course then REVISED he's alive...now, is he a villain? Is he an anti-hero??? Is he a hero and BFF with Donna Troy?? Or is he a weird David Bowie-like psychotic like he last time we saw him.
I guess I just don't see what he brings to the bat-family. Wish he'd stay in Arkham.
welcome to the boards,Gslentin0![]()
I wonder if he will touch ... at all... on the ending of his arc on Batman.
You know.. what was found at the bottom of Robin/Jason's case.
That black/white, thigh high boots, red skull and cape look makes him look like a vibrator. A really goth vibrator. It's not just bad; it's new Alan Scott costume bad.
I'm crushing your head fanboy! I'm crushing your head!
