I'd rather see Robin Williams write it. He can relate to Wolverine since they're both covered in body hair.
Rob Williams wrote the Cla$$war series over at CoM.X. I haven't read anything of his besides that and that was a decent read. Hopefully this title stays readable. I've been enjoying it lately.

The Best There Is At What I Do
Rob Williams is ace. He is a lovely guy, a great writer, and a snappy dresser. I'm disappointed in anyone who does not know who he is. Show some respect, get some taste, and shut up.
It says he also wrote the Shadowland:Ghost Rider one-shot, which I found enjoyable. Ghost Rider on a whale? Yes please.
Wanda Maximoff is a joke!

I've not heard of him, nor read either of the Marvel oneshots mentioned here.
I'm rather neutral toward the replacement, but I'll be missing Liu. Daken was a great character for her.
