    Default Wonder Woman: next exit...Vertigo?

    Hey folks

Wonder Woman has been through a lot at DC Comics over the last decades, the least being the changes of her wardrobe. One of the few things we still havenīt seen was a Vertigo-run of Wonder Woman.

What would you think of a Vertigo-run of WW? What kind of possible plots, (sub-)themes, characters etc. would you like to see handled in such a series?

Iīm very interested in your answers, comments and remarks.

Shall I make the glaringly obvious and predictable reply?

I'd love it if Neil Gaiman or Grant Morrisson would do an Elseworlds / Vertigo run on Wonder Woman.

Neil could go really in-depth with the mythological aspects of her origins and powers. His Sandman series, and his novel American Gods were really gripping and fascinating reads that stand the test of time. He writes female characters equally as well as his male heroes.

Grant would do something metaphysical and extremely deep. I'd love to see either writer do a Wonder Woman book for Vertigo.
