IDW did it first
So i guess we know what happens with Venom in some way cause all these dudes are wearing black costume getups? And does Anti-Venom being there sort of spoils that Mr. Negative doesnt kill him?
Marvel should have teased this by having random people walking around the background of ASM with the venom shirts since Slott took over.
And who is Fat Spider-man?
And can he join with Fat Cobra for a buddy book call The Fatboyz?

Sounds...interesting, though what threat has been building for decades? Girls in black-outfit tops?
I just hope they aren't bringing that Spider-Totem crap back up again.
If this turns into a storyline about how Spidey's recent habit of joining every superteam in the MU has resulted in him transmitting some rare spidey-disease to all the members of FF, New Avengers and the Avengers, thus forcing Spidey off all three teams, then I take back everything mean I ever said about all the oversaturation over the past few months, because that's actually a fun idea and a clever commentary on Spidey overkill.
Otherwise... *shrug*
Maybe he gets Carlie pregnant and she gives birth to a billion spider-babies that age faster than normal because she is secretly part Goblin and they are all named Gabriel.
And Anti_Venom is in there, the only 'villain' so he must be going good guy and joining the main roster. And I think that's Cloak.
Hmm ... a possibility that the radioactive spider that originally gave Spidey his powers gave birth before biting him, leading to generations of mutated offspring? And those mutated offspring bit people giving them powers like Spidey, making an army of Spidey-powered New Yorkers?
My guess is that somehow people all around are getting spider-powers, and it ties in to the scene with Mary Jane displaying spider powers at the back of the latest issue.
Hey, it looks like CyberHubbs might have been right. At least partially.
Hmm ... "Path to Spider-Island"? Jeez, first the mutants get their own island off San Fransisco and now Spidey? What's he gonna take: Manhatten? Staten Island?
"Nothing can prepare him for what he’ll be up against next!"
Sweet Lord, that sounds exciting! I've never heard of such an idea before!!
But serious, I have been curious about what they'll do for ASM #666. Being such a devilish number, it's an interesting opportunity to get "evil" that some have done fairly well, such as Morrison in Batman #666.
