    Default Star Trek Sequel

    What are some decent plots that you would like to see in the next Star Trek movie?

    I personally would like to see some Klingons and maybe a story thats built around the klingon mutations. I don't think there was one Klingon in Star Trek at all.

    If they went with Q they would do better to have trelean (sp).


    Personally I want to se something completely off the wall and instead of doing a sequal let's see the TNG cast in a reboot then the ds9 cast in a reboot then the voyager cast in a reboot and then they can do these four books as movies. http://www.goodreads.com/series/5039...-trek-invasion

    I think with Pike already in a wheel chair... maybe we should see a re-imagining of The Menagerie. I think it makes the most sense.

    Gary Mitchell (from the second pilot) would be kind of cool too.



    I want to see more fo the high concept ideas that the show and the earlier movies didn't quite have the budget or tech for. Kilngons are great and all but I've seen plenty of Klingon stories.

    Star Trek always has been about space exploration. That's the one main theme.

    To boldly go...you know the rest.

    Would be nice to see a story actually taking place in this context and more important than all it would be REALLY nice to have a story who doesn't seem to has been written by Micheal Bay on a Sunday morning after a tequila/vodka night.

    Oh and please, try to stop blowing up planets, thank you.

    Well, they fought a thinly-veiled version of the Death Star in the first one. So I'd suggest Spock get betrayed by an old friend and taken prisoner, and then Kirk has to come save him. Preferably on a vast floating city of some kind.

    It has been discussed about going another way, but I do think it would be cool to see different takes on some of the storylines that we have already seen. Like the Gorn... Forget the planet they go to and Kirk fights a Gorn one on one... Let's see an all out planetary battle between Gorn and Federation ground forces.

    It's been sixteen years since we've had a Klingon-based movie... and I'm *still* sick and tired of them.
