I already pre-ordered the Mezco Lion-O because it's absolutely incredible looking. As for the Bandai toys... really?
There's hardly any detail in the four-inch line and their hands are twice the size of their heads. The 8-inch classic line looks pretty cool and I'll probably end up picking those up but I HATE the new series' figures! I actually like the character re-designs and I was going to save up and buy the entire series but after seeing these pictures (and a bunch of other ones at other sites), I can't stand them! They're horrendous!
I just don't understand why, if Warner owns the rights to ThunderCats, DC Direct weren't put in charge of making some figures. Even NECA would've nailed out some great-looking figures. These non-detailed pieces of plastic look like they belong in a McDonalds Happy Meal. It's very disappointing considering I've waited most of my life-time for the ThunderCats to make a return.
I'll be getting the 8" Classics line for sure! Hope they make Panthro and Cheetara in the second wave.
Here's a stupid question but are they doing this remake without Snarf?![]()

Lion-O is a must buy, but I was a fan of Snarf as a little kid. I will pick up a Snarf toy. I thought it was cool that Snarf was included in the new show.
