Well there's your answer for 10 more seasons :)
I had my suspicions when Tess attempted to give "Alexander" a shot full of cyanide and the needle bent on his skin. I will be curious on how the "Alexander" character, supposedly a clone of Lex Luthor has Clark Kent's invulnerability?
If, for some chance that Alexander is an actual clone of Clark then I can think of at least 6 times when Lex could have access to Clark's blood.
I am eager to see how this turns out.

In a way this could be their answer of a possible spin-off should Smallville ends

Not for me. That cast had a sort of magic to go this long. Think of all the other promising sitcoms to end after two or three seasons. They made this work. Once this ends and there is no Clark or even Queens character I'm not interested. But again everyone thought maybe a Teen Titans spin off with Bart and all of them.....Who knows this does add in to that idea or why even bust out such a large character this late in the game. It would have to kick some serious ass for me to put in another ten years of watching.
In the middle of the night...
I take it the master manipulator will be Lionel?

Between Young Justice and this, Kon-El's getting a lot of spotlight. It's too bad it couldn't have happened back in the '90s when he was still a fun character. I just haven't been a big fan of Superboy since Johns Teen Titans take on him.
I guess it was likely the costume that turned people off.
The again part is why i'm wondering.
It seems redundant to have Lionel return just so Lex can kill him a second time. Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if Lionel uses him against Lex and the series ends with Supes saving Lex but Lex being less than thankful. Seems like it would be a nice dark mirror to how their relationship started.

When's Steel, the Eradicator and Cyborg Superman showing up?
Really, Superboy's one of my favourite characters, but this still feels wrong.
