The tag line of this movie needs to be "Inception 2"

and I'm just fine with that.

and, Talia. If Gordon-Levitt plays Holiday, it would fit the "offspring come back for revenge"

    I totally agree.
"John Stewart. LAME! ...this guy having a ring is like giving the batmobile to a blind old woman with her left leg in a cast."

"Pym biting Blobs head off seems like something that would have happened when i was ten years old and playing with action figures."

"i always assumed that [the blob] had the same powers as his 616 counterpart because, if simply being a huge fat guy was enough to be considered a mutant then there sure are a lot of mutants in 'real life'. "

Crazy. Unless it's some new character the only character I can see her playing is Talia. And it would be tough having Talia and Selina in the same movie.

I also see her as Talia. A REALLY FRIGGIN HOT TALIA!

But seriously, she's a good actress. The only problem is that her english is hard to understand at times.

The rumours have now been confirmed, but only insofar that Marion Cotillard is in talks. Nothing is yet set.

I will be very glad if this does happen. I was one of those people hoping she'd be cast as Catwoman, but frankly, any role will be fine by me.
Your name is Kal-El. You are the only survivor of the planet Krypton. Even though you've been raised as a human being, you are not one of them

Yeah. Which is kind of weird people so many people want her as Catwoman. Unless they want a french Catwoman (which I would be cool with). I don't think I've see her do any other accent.

I think she'd be a good Talia. If Talia is in the movie do you think they'll bring back Ra's as well? Let's see how many people they can cram into this movie.

I'd prefer they go with a more exotic actress for Talia, but honestly, regardless of who they cast, I'm not sure I want Talia in it.

I'm still really looking forward to this movie and I hope it'll be great, but I'm starting to get bad memories of X-Men 3, Spider-Man 3, and to a lesser extent Iron Man 2 (which I did enjoy, just not nearly as much as the original).

She'd make an awesome Talia, but I wouldn't want to see it happen in the same film as Bane/Hardy and Selina/Hathaway, these are two roles that need dont need to compete for attention.

Also there's the fact that it's just weird to bring back a connection from the first film when it was completely absent from the middle. That's not a proper through line and I'm sure more than half the *regular audience* will not remember what the hell Liam Neeson was all about in BB, apart from having a dodgy moustache and lecturing a bit. I thought these were self contained fims. It would be a bit of sneaky thing to do to an audience, and probaby very underwhelming...."oh, so it's Liam Neesons daughter. Wow...I guess"

Oh, and we have a set shot

I don't know about her as Talia--I kind-of see her as being more exotic, Greek or Middle Eastern. But, I'd also see Bane as more Latino, so maybe Nolan has a goal of white-washing the whole rogues gallery ().

I remember when the "two female roles" were coming out, one that I heard that I rather liked was Sarah Essen. Perhaps she could be Gordon's top cop, someone out wanting to catch Batman while Gordon subtlety stops her and they develop a relationship?

I also didn't see her fitting the role of Catwoman. Of course I didn't picture Hathaway in that role either but I'm still optimistic.

I think I read an interview where Liam Nielson stated he would not be back for the third film.

Multiple characters are only a problem when the don't fit cohesively into the plot. Nolan's not putting these characters in because the studio wants to sell more toys or because he wants to appease the fanboys. I'm confident he has a specific purpose for each character in the overall story.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they are planning to tell the best possible story they can and using only characters that will service that story. I could be wrong but I think there are worse things to be wrong about.

That's from Batman Begins. I can even see the hole in the wall on the side where the inmates escaped into the Narrows.

As long as she's not playing someone born and raised in the USA (like Catwoman, although she does look my conception of Selina more than Hathaway) I think she could pull off any "exotic/foreign" role - be it Talia or maybe a raised-in-Italy Sofia Falcone or an all new character ala Rachel Dawes (which I wouldn't be surprised at). Her English is good for a non-native English speaker and has only gotten better since her Oscar win several years ago, and considering she'll be a new mom whenever shooting starts I doubt the part will be a huge one.
