While I was always skeptical of the movie concept, this trailer made it win a few points

Anyone see it and think of the watchmen movie? because the look and the fact its set in another era sure make me think of it

It does make more sense and look better than I thought. Then again with all the casting and rumors, I have very very low expectations. And seeing that didn't raise them enough to want to see it.

Amazing how they're taking stuff from Morrison's X-men run and the 90s X-men, then shove it into the 1960s original X-men comics and time frame. I dunno. Sure, Batman Begins was a reboot which an amalgam of different eras. Yet.. I just don't know if it will work with a team like this by completely changing characters. At least Begins had the proper characters. Here they swapped in Morrisons Angel from the 2000s, not to mention a number of others, into the 1960s first class.

Oh and Azazel. I see him, but I still can't belive they're taking one of the worst X-men runs in a decade and putting it into this film! Who was the genius who thought that was a great idea?

The JFK voice over gave it a definite sense of gravitas, whether the movie will deliver on that who knows, but the promise is there. Count me as interested.

I thought that the trailer for it was pretty bad. Beast looks stupid and the action looks pretty weak,I'm only going to see it out of curiosity and am going to go in with low expectations. Fortunately this movie won't be getting my money. Something is wrong with the trailer when the only good thing that's in it is the song that was playing.

i was optimistic about the whole 60's concept because it sounded neat and i thought the Hellfire Club would be quite fun for the era, then those pics came out and it was a little...eeeeeeeh, but that was actually quite good!

After the bitter taste left by X3, it looks as if the X-Men are back with a vengeance! And the movie can only benifit by not having Wolverine to dominate.

Not bad but haven't improved my expectations either. If word of the mouth is good I might check it out on DVD. The one good thing the movie has going is that it has no Wolverine stealing the spotlight

Liked the trailer. Looks like this will end up being better than I originally anticipated. Can't wait to see the whole enchilada.

The trailer shows more potential than I thought it would, though I'm still a little skeptical about picking and choosing from different points in the X-Men timeline and mashing it all together in the 60s. Hopefully I can separate the comic history from the screen history, but I hope it doesn't make a mess of picking and choosing what is consistent with the other X-Men movies. That drives me nuts.

This looks much better than I was expecting it to.

I get the feeling that they've substituted some of the characters they really wanted with lesser equivalents (Azazel for Nightcrawler being the most glaring, seriously, Azazel?) but can't blame this movie for the characters the other movies already used.

I just Bukkaked myself. That trailer was AWESOME!! Say what you will about Fox but those guys now how to cut a trailer!! YOU HEAR THAT GREEN LANTERN/DC?!!

And for al those complaining about continuity it's pretty much a gievn by now that comic book movies and tv shows exist in their own universe. So F continuity just give me something good but respectful of the material.

The move I think about the shots of Hank here, the more it doesn't work. It looks like they're going with the whole scrawny kid hulks / beasts out when he injects the serum. It seems he was just scrawny and had mutant jumping abilities before. That's not Hank. He was always big and muscular. Geez. they Can't even get that right.

Then again, I keep saying, this is the film series that based Juggernaut more on a vulgar misogynistic bootleg web video by a bunch of drunk guys than on the actual comics.

I was already hopeful given the Sixties spin on the concept, but things are looking a good deal brighter now. I mean, it has A REAL BLACKBIRD...!

Going to be a packed Summer, and it just got a little bit better.
