I'm very excited about this run; I loved Tomasi's and Gleason's GL Corps. Pat Gleason's art is similar to Walt Simonson's in that, while it isn't always the most anatomically correct or sleek art out there, it always has a ton of energy and dynamism. You can't mistake his art for anyone else's.
What's more, the pair of these guys did GL Corps for over four years running, which shows that they can put out a book on time and without compromising its quality. I hope they can do the same for Batman and Robin.

His first issue was pretty solid, and from the interview his i think his take on Dick sounds spot on.
He just exudes enthusiasm, doesn't he? It must be working, because I want to read Batman and Robin #20 so badly!
I will get my copy today as soon as the LCS opens. Come on, 10 A.M.!
He was a good choice for the title because I felt that Batman Blackest Night did a great job getting the new Damian-Grayson dynamics down. Some people overkill Damian's spoiled brat nature, and some just seem to ignore it and almost write them like it was still Bruce Wayne and Tim Drake.
Yeah, got his first issue and I really liked it. Gleason's action sequences are as incredible as usually.
I love his panel style.
The dialogue feels natural and flows easily while reading.
The only thing I would criticise would be that Tomasi's cliffhangers leave much to be desired.
He needs to write proper cliffhangers!
"You can't trust them as poets either. The true poet is anonymous, as to his habits, but these boys have to look, act, and apparently smell like poets"
Flannery O'Connor on the beats.
This was a great opening issue for the creative team. Tomasi is an amazing writer, and one of my favorites at DC right now. He does a great job with characterization, and his stories are easy to follow despite the fact that he has no fear of the strange and fantastic.
Tomasi's work on Nightwing was outstanding. He writes an amazing Dick Grayson. I can't wait to see how this plays out.
And hey, fans if Dick Grayson should come visit his fan club!

"...one of my personal favorites, Jim Aparo, who has to be one of the most underrated artists in the history of our business. Aparo kicked ass on not just Batman, but Aquaman and The Spectre, too."
I totally agree. Aparo is my all-time favorite artist and it sucks that he doesn't get nearly the recognition he deserves.
Peter, thanks for convincing Grant to do Batman!!!!!!!!!!
"Calm down, call Batman." - Greg Capullo
VERY promising first issue, very strong characterization, and compelling plot introduction.
Art was great too, the action splash pages were brilliant.
