Fun fact: back in the day, I had a comic from Byrne's run where Cassie always wore the homely wig and glasses (and looked just like her mother). That Wonder Girl I would've loved to see around, even with the irritating Zeus-Daddy plot.
Honestly there are too many blonde female teen sidekicks. If they all got together without their costumes it would be impossible to tell them a part.

Young Justice Cassie is definatley my favorite version of the character, and I much prefer the origin of just asking Zeus for powers.

As for how she fits in with WW now? I doubt anybody really knows. Even JMS essentially said in an interview that he was leaving that up to others to figure out.

I agree. Wonder Girl, Supergirl, Batgirl, and even Stargirl all look alike to me. Can we get some more brunettes, red-heads, and some other non-blondes? The only non-blonde teen heroine that seems to be getting any attention right now are who, Ravager and Cyclone? Does Lightning appear in her human form or is she always in her powered form? Aquagirl was cool, but now she isn't in Teen Titans anymore. The same goes for Bombshell and Ms. Martian. And now we have Lori Luthor over in Superboy too.

    Resist the blonde power!

Personally love Cassie. Don't know yet where anything or anyone fits into the altered timeline ...not elseworlds...altered timeline.
I suppose once Diana solves this God puzzle, we'll seevwhat pieces remain and what the collateral is.
Personally, I hope some of the new sticks.

That's unacceptable, Clint. Didn't you know that?

Anyway, Cassie has a cute design, but she's pretty generic.

You know what I find most curious about the WW Sidekicks is that much of who they are and what happens to them is dictated by creative teams outside the WW offices. Look at Donna’s new blue lasso and Cassie’s development. Also, as much as I hate to say it, you can really tell how male-dominant the take on WW has been because of the lack of any real relationship between the Wonder Women. Shouldn’t they be more like sisters than distant friends? Is it just me or did Diana and Donna seem to have a closer relationship Post-COIE when she was her cousin than reinstated as a full-fledged sister (or is that Diana doppelganger)? Maybe I am expecting too much, but there seems to be more of a family relation between the Batmen than Diana, Donna, and Cassie. What’s up with that?

    Regards,

Seems the original poster made it clear they do not normally read Wonder Woman, and then asked a question. Why does this thread read like no one wanted to help...in any way...to answer the question? Instead, just speculation placed as fact, and complaining about too many blonde teen heroes.

The first two responses were clearly intended to help. Sure, there was speculation involved, but both posters were trying to be helpful.

Keeping on point as Wonderman RK reminded us, I am sure once we discern what will be kept from the new storyline and subsequently shoehorned into continuity, then we will see how this will impact the other characters that intersect Diana’s history [as it was before Odyssey]. That being said, I do believe that with everything that has happened and all the efforts DC has made to reincorporate Diana into the Pre-COIE continuity, Diana’s history will be mostly restored. Thus, there will not be a need for massive rewrite of either Cassie or Donna’s histories since as others have already pointed out, their respective histories have been mainly dictated by creators outside the WW office.

    Regards,

PS-Sorry for getting off topic, Wonderman RK. ;)
