Do you believe that Princess Diana of Themyscira smarter than Bruce Wayne?
If so, what do you believe that she is smarter than him?

HADOKEN!!! - Ryu from the Street Fighter series
Nah, she may be a brilliant warrior but Bats´got the smarts.
Don´t get me wrong, she´s got quite some brain power going on (IIRC she learned to speak english in a very short time during the Perez run) but smarts is Bat´s whole schtick.
Now if you asked me between Batman and Superman, I´d be in a tough spot.
Superman was building robots and rebuilding supercomputers from memory back in the pre-crisis.
Post-crisis, he seems to have fried most of his brain cells but it´s still quite impressive.
In some ways yes in some ways no.
In understanding myths and how people with unimaginable power? She fights gods and witches every other thursday, hell yes.
In understanding modern technology? No. Hell no.
In understanding fighting skills? draw. Both are experts in different areas, leave it at that.
I think it depends on what you mean by "smart."
I think they're fairly on par when it comes to the capacity to learn things in general. They've both proven that they have the ability to comprehend and process information quickly.
However, if you're talking about who possesses more general knowledge, Batman has an advantage. He's obsessively devoted his life to hoarding information of all kinds. Diana likes to learn and experience things, but her attitude about it is much more casual and leisurely. To her, it's a pleasurable thing, not a compulsion.
Diana has better social skills, and I would argue that she understands people better. She's certainly got better coping skills, emotional maturity and is more psychologically healthy. I do think that Batman makes a point of studying people to gain advantage over them, but Wonder Woman is more in tune with peoples' needs and wants.
Not even close. As far as intelligence is concerned, Bats is the tops.
His level of intelligence is effectively a super-power.
Absolutely.
Now, imo, Bats should be tops overall. But smarter than everyone about everything? No, that' just taking "the world's greatest detective" to ridiculous extremes. Not only does it force everyone else around him to act like they're brain-dead when he's in the room (that's his real super-power), but it kills the drama. Where's the mystery when Bats is twenty moves ahead of the Riddler seven years before Edward's parents even met?
Besides, did he ever invent a purple healing ray? I think not.![]()

Except that Batman stories don't typically work out that way, no matter how much people here want to pretend they do.
True. But when he's around the other members of the JL, or even other members of the Bat-family, how often do we see them with an idea or solution that Bruce hadn't thought of?
It's one reason I like The Dark Knight. Bruce is obviously insanely intelligent. But he doesn't know all about everything, or even more than everyone around him. He needs Lucius.
I think they can have Batman still being the "brains" and allow for more room for the others to shine as intelligent beings, too. In my experience, that doesn't happen often enough.
i think ww is very smart just not the current version.

Irene Adler: “I would have you right here on this desk until you begged for mercy twice.”
Sherlock: “I’ve never begged for mercy in my life.”
Irene: “Twice.”
This is true - after all, nobody really thinks Reed Richards greatest power is being all stretchy. It's his ability to have an occasion for every gadget.
But I dont know about THE most intelligent. The best analytical thinker and tactician, maybe. But there are also characters like Oracle and Mr Terrific.

Oracle is smart, and very talented when it comes to tech. But she is no Batman. Bruce has knowledge across an incredible range of subjects, and that knowledge is extremely in depth.
Mr. Terrific is very intelligent, yes. At least we're told that often enough. But he rarely comes across in that way.
Do you even read Batman, Brett? I'm not trying to be snarky. I'm seriously asking?
Because if you've been reading it over the past five years, I doubt you would say such a thing. Granted, a good deal of that time Batman has been Dick Grayson. But a lot of it has been Bruce Wayne, as well. And I'm not sure where this "he doesn't know that he's not as smart as he thinks he is," thing comes from, at all.
