Nice clips, but I kind of cringed when I heard Superboy use the phrase "living weapon". I know that's technically what he is, but Wolverine and his Weapon X buddies just wore out the concept long ago.
damn i love this show. i think the animation is fantastic, and i feel they are putting it all out there. As opposed to the Avengers show, which I believe has excellent story telling, the animation feels very outdated and seems like they halfassed it just to get a show out and compete in that marketplace somehow.
though I will say that new Wolverine anime looks fantastic (watched the first episode, it's great) and can't wait for marvel to do more like that
Neat clips. Should be a fun episode. I don't agree though that the Avengers show has bad animation. I think its got great, clean, nice fluid animation thats on par with this show.
The Avengers wasn't rushed out, they nearly finished the second season before the first started aring. Young Justice was the show that was rushed out to complete with the Avengers.

Avengers is kind of generic and your ho hum superhero Saturday morning cartoon. Not bad, but it's what DC already achieved years ago with Timm's Justice League.

Sorry, but the one thing about these Marvel cartoons is that they're clearly lifting stories we saw in the comics. That's why they're always a step below the DC toons. With Timm's Justice League we weren't watching comic events on the screen. We were watching actual original stories that had serious weight to them. Until the writers at Avengers stop being lazy and produce original stories, they'll never come close to surpassing anything Timm and Co. did and continue to do with the animated DCU.
Stay tuned. Young Justice is following in that format and will be yet another crowning jewel in DC's animated crown.

Really? They'd been working on Young Justice for a over year before it hit the airwaves.
Young Justice debuted the day after Thanksgiving, and Disney decided to load their airwaves with the Avengers, but it was Young Justice that people were paying attention to and lauding with nearly unanimous praise.

No source, it was more of a statement of mine, not a fully thought out one.
Yes really. I remember people paying attention to both YJ, and Avengers, and enjoying both of them. I don't see why people seem to prop up YJ, but crap on Avengers. Its just my opinion that Avengers is just as good as YJ, we'll all just have to agree to disagree I guess.
So anyway, does anyone think Black Canary will school Superboy?

I hope Black Canary shoves her foot up Superboy's ass, he is so annoying in this cartoon.
Superboy serious needs to spend some time in Hawaii and pretend he's in the X-men. Scene with Black Canary was cringe worthy. Though he seemed to already be on pissy mood. I'm going to resume Superman gave him a earful on the bridge
I like both and they're both very good.
I don't really get why people are comparing them. I suppose it's because of that stupid, old DC vs Marvel rivalry that the big comics companies like to pretend there is.
Honestly, I never saw it that way. When it comes to comic books and super-heroes and stuff like that, it never really seemed like Marvel vs DC as much as it was us against the world.
