I don't really like it. Though in his favor, thats the first time he's ever made Diana look "Soft".

Finally a good diana by Alex Ross. I showed "Justice" to my friend- my female friends and they though his rendition of Diana was ugly.

That is by far his best WW, she looks beautiful. I would love to see this colored.

    Gorgeous.

And Diana reminds me of an actress, but I'm really struggling to think of who it is. It's sort of driving me nuts. :)

though i personally don't like his style, ross is obviously talented. i'm not a fan of realistic art in my comics but if wonder woman looked like something i would sure think it was that!

Wow. Alex Ross can draw attractive women. Do they always look like this in the penciled stages and they just get "butched" when he paints them?

Beautiful cover. Beautiful Diana. But then I always liked what Ross is trying to convey in his art style. If we were to judge art by so called "prettiness" then many pieces that are considered masterpieces would be tossed out including the Mona Lisa.

I like this image of her, even if it makes a feature of her femininity, and it's a strong cover overall; and man that is some hardcore posing going on there, from the JLA O.o

While I agree that he often made Diana look more masculine, in terms of bone structure, that's not what I'd describe butch as: being butch is more complicated than that. It's also often attractive imo.

I think the fact Diana looks unattractive in some of his work is usually because of her demeanour, age (in KC noteably) and specifically because he sometimes combines her masculinity with hyperfemininity in a way that people normally associate with drag. Which can be beautiful (just like age) but probably isn't what most straight men and gay/bi women are looking for, in that sense:

There are some other images of her, by him, which are beautiful in a more naturalistic fashion as well:

I find his work very hit or miss; especially how he designs her outfit.
