Man, that looks so much better than Ross' work on the actual Captain America book.
The Punisher: I’m going to cauterize your rectum, sealing it shut, so when you turn those delicious Pink Pants™ Fruit Pies into waste products the bilirubin in your feces will leach into your bloodstream and you’ll die screaming! And I’ll watch while having sex with this grateful prostitute!

Trussed-Up Hooker: Blueberry are my favorite!

This looks pretty interesting. The preview art looks good. Also can't wait for the trailer.

It certainly does, although I think Richard Isanove's colors do a lot of heavy lifting as well.

That, and maybe having more time to work on it. Maybe Ross just isn't a monthly guy?

Or I'm talking out of my ass, whatever. In any event, the stiffness that was in his regular Cap work doesn't appear in these pages.

You know when I first saw what FVL posted on Twitter about this, I thought for just a second that he was taking over for Brubaker. I like FVL but I wasn't quite ready for Bru to be finished. Thankfully I was wrong.

Speaking of which, has anyone written Cap longer than Brubaker? Gruenwald is about the only who either has or comes close.

    Besides Gruenwald, Mark Waid maybe.
