Default Best X-Men Comics That Show Belonging...

And not belonging? Just wondering, as I would like to read some. These include the mutants belonging, but it can also show how they don't fit into a society, and how they don't belong. I'd want one that really showcases the mutant/human relationship and how mutants are really feared and hated. Thanks!

Hmmm.. possibly check out the "X-Men: Prime" one-shot from the nineties, or "God Loves, Man Kills." Any Genosha story line (UXM 235-238 & X-Tinction crossover). Hard to pin point because this thread was a pretty constant theme of the title, but I wanna say it seemed it's edgiest during parts of JRJR's first run. Maybe.

Edit: Also, any good issue that focuses on Nightcrawler and his origin story could work. Just can't specify one off the top of my head.

Thanks guys, and it could even be extended to belonging with people, so things like ... the Wolverine and Jubilee relationship and things like that. Are there any issues that delve deeply into that, while at the same time with the mutan/human relations? Thanks for the scans, darknessatnoon!

There was a miniserie, "Muties", I think, showing some new mutants trying to live a normal life. It was quite good.

Any of the issues with Marrow in the late 90s relate to her trying to belong with the X-Men, and then there's Cecilia Reyes trying NOT to belong with mutants at the same time. I suppose there are some key Morlocks issues that I can't think of.

Uncanny X-Men #350 shows belonging two-fold: Marrow and Gene Nation, and some humans in a NYC subway car.

I think X-Men #165 is a good issue about how the X-Men belong together. Theres a bit about human/mutant relations and how they react to each other. Its a Christmas issue but its still pretty good. Heres the summary if you want to read it: X-Men #165

That sounds like a good one! Having the Christmas special could work out well to read, too. Thanks!
