Marvel Comics has released a teaser image hinting at the events to come in next month's "Fantastic Four" #588, the final issue of the publisher's long-running series.

I don't recall there being another "final" issue.

This is going to be the final issue of Fantastic Four until enough FF issues have been printed to change the title back to Fantastic Four once it hits #600.

What I like is that Hickman has set up so many plot threads that you see them eventually interweaving with each other in the new series. I can't wait for the new series so he can strike the match to set all of these plots on fire.

Same, v nice art ! But what's up with spiderman? He looks kind of creepy in a more-spider-than-man spin-Franklin-in-a-web take-him-back-to-the-web-to-feed mrs-spider-&-the-little-clutch-of-baby-spiderlings kind of way.
Actually as if the perspective got spun 90 degrees, like the artist was drawing him climbing the side of a building originally but then switched things but didn't redraw ol spidey! :)

That being said, Storm could have been an interesting addition. Black Widow.... naw. She-Hulk.... been there already.... but we all know the answer already to whats being done to the team, right?

I loved seeing BP and Storm on the team, but randomly sending people up to to be bombarded with cosmic rays to spite the original FF cuz they're white and having no good reason whatsoever currently for them to be replaced just comes off as unimaginative and tactless. Why cut the nose off despite the face?

Who said anything about spite?
All i said is that the F4 should be replaced with another family because that's the core concept of the F4, a family with powers. Throwing 4 heroes together doesnt make a F4 it just makes a team of four heroes. And while they are at it why not make the family something OTHER than current set.

Is it really that radical to suggest a family of heroes that is not white?
