    Because...... A.) Johnny has always been one to stand and fight, rather than to simply retreat and.....

    B.) The majority of the "Annihilation Wave" are also fliers..... so escaping was never an option....!!

    I think it's funny to hear about Slott and Hickman collaborating. They have, to me, completely opposite personalities. Slott's very outgoing during interviews, and likes to flail a lot. Hickman gives short answers, and always looks like he's ready to bolt out of his chair and through a window the moment men in black suits kick down the door.

    Why didn't he just go supernova? As in burn at his maximum power and just explode them? Or does he I haven't read this yet.
