Certainly feels like it sometimes dude, at least in terms of the comic world. Plenty of interesting news from creators every day that never make it to the news sites, or only show up months later via official press releases. I love how open and friendly people in the comic industry are on twitter to talk to about their work and what they've got coming up.

I thought the seventh Hellboy library edition would be a long way off, and maybe it still is, but I suddenly realised Hellboy in Hell #1-5 will fill a whole trade, and House of the Living Dead, Hellboy versus the Aztec Mummy, and The Midnight Circus will easily fill another. If we get Hellboy in Hell #5 before or during October, it's possible we may actually get the next library edition as soon as January 2015 (the absolute earliest we could expect such a thing). Of course, they may not be collected this way. The Hellboy in Hell stories may be collected in their own volume and the OGNs and any other short stories may be collected in another, in which case the wait for the next volume will be considerably longer.

And if House of the Living Dead, Hellboy versus the Aztec Mummy, and The Midnight Circus are collected as a trade paperback first, then the wait will be even longer again.

Some general news from C2E2. Rafael Alburquerque is joining the crew as a cover artist on B.P.R.D. One of the covers displayed (I don't know if it was Alburquerque's, there were no pictures) featured Liz prominently.

Will HELLBOY: THE MIDNIGHT CIRCUS HC be recollected in a Library edition or something? Have there been any other OGNs? Were they recollected?

There's only House of the Living Dead (I think), and from what I know there's been no statement saying they'll get a library edition. Maybe if there's a third, perhaps.

    I'll be picking up:
    Itty Bitty Hellboy
    Hellboy: The Midnight Circus
Pulling: Whispers, 2000AD, Red Sonja: Unchained, Amala's Blade, Princeless

I have no doubt that the Hellboy OGNs will be collected in a library edition volume eventually, especially since the OGNs are devoid of any sketchbook material. There's no way they aren't going to be recollected. The Midnight Circus, House of the Living Dead and the eight-page short Hellboy versus the Aztec Mummy together meet the page requirements for a trade, and it was mentioned (in a Hellmail) that Hellboy in Hell #1-5 would be collected together in a trade, so Hellboy Library Edition Volume 7 may be full of all this material. But the absolute earliest we could reasonably expect to see such a thing would be January 2015, and even that's a rather optimistic estimate.
