Well, my list is a publishing order list, whereas Thunderpeel's is a reading order list, which makes it much more tricky because there are so many reading orders and all of them have their own little arbitrary rules based on the list-maker's personal preferences. I believe Thunderpeel's tries to assemble them in an order that if you are reading by trade paperback, there is as little back and forth between different books as possible. I can't really say for sure though, as it's Thunderpeel's list, not mine.
