Well, Bendis is finally getting the big hype going. Obviously we all are well experienced with his overhype, but he seems a lot more genuine with this story than usual. It's certainly a big project - two writers and several artists - and I think it has promise to be one of the best Ultimate stories we've seen in years.

I said it earlier this week when we saw Bagley's first cover, but I'll say it again: Bagley is back! And maybe better than ever. If those black and white pages didn't have Bagley's name on it, I probably would have thought they were from Yu's issues.

Regarding the story, color me anxious. The return of Ultimate Six on the tail of Peter's training should be exciting. I think what I'm most excited about from the Six is that it looks like Tandy Bowen is finally taking on her Dagger identity; she's fed up with mutants and superheros and such, so she's getting drastic about it. Possibly even more exciting though, is that it looks like Norman Osborn is coming back. Though it's unfortunate that this was spoiled in previews, I don't mind too much; it isn't as though we actually thought he was dead.
I like Ultimate Comics. - Read them with us!

I also buy: Captain America, Avengers, FF, New Avengers, X-Factor, among others

This sounds great but CBR, how do you guys not check to see if pictures load before publishing an article? The bottom three pictures don't work when you click to enlarge them. And those are the only pictures worth clicking since those are the only ones that have yet to be released.

They all worked for me...so it's not a problem with the article. Maybe use a different browser? I don't know, I'm not well versed in internet problems.

I dunno, I think it has to be the article. I tried Firefox, Chrome, and I just tried to view them on my phone.

Are we sure that's Norman Osborn?

I had hoped they could keep the "dead is dead" rule alive a little longer

Must be a Firefox defect because those images aren't opening for me either.

I'm having the same problem with Chrome.

Nor will the images load for me.

All of this hype is getting me really excited.

I really really hope that Spider-man dying isn't some sort of end of the Ultimate Comics Line.

I believe the woman on that cover is not Dagger but Silver Sable.

And I didn't realize this man could be Norman, I suppose I was expecting his 'return' to be sort of a bigger deal.

This reminds me of the previews on IGN. Four times out of five, the pictures wouldn't load.

"The story will continue, too. There will be some major announcements in the summer directly related to what happens in this story.”
I think this indicates they will announce some new book(s) or changes to Ultimate Spider-Man.
I don't think Bendis would say they have some major announcements later if they where planing to end the Ultimate Comics Line.

They probably won't kill Spider-Man just his identities, because USM is the hart of the Ultimate Universe. Killing Peter would be the same as killing the UU. I don't think Marvel is that stupid.

Really sorry about that—it looked fine in my browser when I posted. It should be fixed now.

The Death of Spider-Man does not necessarily mean the death of Peter Parker. Maybe he just quits being Spider-Man... forever!
