Default CBR: Gillen Embarks on a "Journey Into Mystery"

Terror grips the Marvel universe in April in "Fear Itself," and hope might rest with a secret team of mythological operatives fielded by Loki. We spoke with Kieron Gillen about his new ongoing series "Journey Into Mystery."

This sounds interesting. Love that Loki is the lead here.

Sounds like we have DnA's Heroes for Hire x2 here sorta-kinda - featuring gods though.

I wanted Gillen back on a Thor-related project and it's nice he's going to go similar to his last arc The Fine Print; my favorite. I like Loki a bit, but I'm glad he's not always going to be front in center in person, and I love that Gillen wants to mix it up with some Chaos War (also one of my fave series) characters.

I had no interest in this comic until I saw Art Adams' cover!

Thinking about it, the previous Captain Britain book started back up with a Secret Invasion tie-in arc, so Journey into Mystery starting with a Fear Itself arc isn't NECESSARILY a bad thing....but it doesn't make me want to read it and i'll probably pass.

I'm conflicted with how to take this new "Reborn" series, given it's about Loki, who we all are reminded of his variety of Misdeeds.

I mean Gillen's previous work on Thor was a great read or two, but he's pulling up a LONG SHOT with making Loki look like a hero.

I'm very interested in this and I love that Mr. Gillen is getting another shot with any part of Thor's cast; his Siege: Loki one-shot was fantastic and I imagine that he'll continue his excellent work with the character in Journey into Mystery.

Gillian writes consistantly smart stuff, his Loki was one of the standout of his great run on Thor and Lil Loki is probably the only cool thing about Fraction's run so far.

Im on board. At this point im better off supporting the Gillans, the Mcanns, the Slotts and the Paks.

The big shots leave me diappointed at best pissed off at worst.

Dougie Braithwaite! Awesome! He's been deserving of a Marvel ongoing for QUITE a while now.

I'm excited about this new direction for Thor (the book). What Gillen describes is something I personally have been wishing for... so, can't come quick enough for me :)

Not to be an old-timey continuity gloomy-gus (I am thrilled to see the title return), but shouldn't it be # 522, not #622?

I'm totally fed-up back ops stuffs but Gillen just hooked me with his SANDMAN comparison...After Neil Gaiman' AMERICAN GODS I wondered when Marvel would finally approaching all his mythological material in a different way, and I'm suspecting Gillen to be also a huge Roger Zelazny'fan so I guess we could really expect something..and finally I'm glad they use JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY to do it
