That looked like one helluva fun event. I've never been able to really get into Spawn but a HUGE congrats to Todd for making it to the 200th issue milestone. It's awesome seeing a pic of the Image guys together at the end. Too bad the other three couldn't make it.

QUITE A BASH! And Todd deserves all the kudos! A successful "alternative" (non-DC or Marvel) super-character makes it to a 200th ISSUE-- not since the days of Captain Marvel has it been done and I wish Todd all the best!

SPAWN fans, past and present; those who stuck with the book from DAY ONE and those, who, like myself, drifted in and out, we knew that what we were getting was NOT a traditional "super-hero" but an action-horror comic steeped in "wise-guy" comedy--having more in common with THE TOXIC AVENGER or EVIL DEAD than with Superman or Spidey!

Todd knew what he wanted to do: put out a fun, cool, kick-butt comic that teens and adults could enjoy--AND HE DOOD IT!

    Congrats again Toddy-Mack!

Anything that reunites the old Image gang is a awesome in my book.

Looks like that was great. Huge benchmark for Todd.

    Totally agree!

And way to go, Todd! I remember being so excited buying Spawn #1 back when I was a kid. I don't still follow it now, but it's nice to see it hit 200, and this bash seems like it was one heck of a time!

Btw, if they ever made a movie about how Todd, Liefeld, Larsen, Lee, Valentino, and Portacio left Marvel to form Image (which could be a great movie, imo) they should get Peter Facinelli to play Todd! (this guy: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004906/
