We think d best way 2 gv more Milstine xcters a spotlight in a single shot would b 2 launch a SHADOW CABINET buk featurng a variety of Milestine xcters in a single team(Xombi should b added 2 d roster as shown in 'Maestro's'(RIP) run in JLA) in which der will b several recurring Milestone xcters who r not part of d team such as Kobalt, Blood Syndicate, etc as well as DCnU xcters & teams.

SHADOW CABINET is an organisation of people & superbeings dedicated 2 policing other teams, organisations & individuals of meta-humans, mutants & mytsically empowerd from gd guys-2- supervillains, JLA, JLI, TT, DP, GLC(earth division), Stormwatch, JLD, etc thru black-ops covert tactiks, meta-espionage & ultra-surviellance operating as a 'ghost' organisation(no1 knowns dey exist except sum very very very few possible allied individuals & r untraceble/untrakable)

Den we can l8r spin-off solo titles 4 Icon, Hardware, Xombi & Kobalt.

    Thoughts?

    Do u agree or disagree?

I can definitely see that happening if some of their missions were down in outer space, Kinda like Secret Avengers.
Some one needs to reboot Hollywood.

That sounds kinda like what StormWatch is doing right now, though currently StormWatch is said to be run by the Shadow Cabinet, who are apparently all undead. How confusing.

I would like to see Icon and other Milestone characters in the pages of StormWatch, especially since the team seems to be destroyed as of the latest issue. Of course, I thought they should have used him in the first place, he was cool.

Someone at DC specifically said the Shadow Cabinet referenced in STORMWATCH is not at all related to the Milestone version.

Which is crap because than it becomes confusing if they ever did decide to use the milestone shadow cabinet version. I can't think of two different teams in DC that has the exact same name.

It was Cornell himself who said it which makes me annoyed that someone on the editing staff didn't point out that there is another team who uses that name and has had it since the 90's.

Paul Cornell, who has written the first six issues of Stormwatch, might not have known. However, I would hope that there is someone at DC who serves as a continuity editor -- even if that might be a thankless job.

Especially since the group appeared in a JLA arc not that long ago

Oh common...do u not remember d intense court battle between DC & Marvel dat went on 4 years of d title of Captain Marvel?

    Exactly...& u(Mr Washington,sir) r gonna stand 4 dis?

Wat do d rest of d Milestone Media alumni hv 2 say about dis?

Y didnt Cornell just call dem d ''DARK PARLIAMENT''?

U do know dat with Cornell already using d Shadow Cabinet title, d possibility of hv a Milestone Shadow Cabinet series, limited, mini or on-going is trifled/squashd, right?

If Cornell wantd a title y didnt he just rip-off sum other DC-based & created team.

Now just imagine d confusion when a Milestone Media Shadow Cabinet buk gets released...r a Milestone Media Alumni gonna 2 let dat happen?

Well if d continuity editor aint doing squat he/she should either b demoted or fired....or it dis all sum elaborate joke or prank against Milestone & 'Maestro' McDuffie(R.I.P) in partnership with Cornell?

Dammit! McDuffie(RIP) aint gone 2 years & dis is already happening...DC is still mking money & production of scripts 'Maestro' left behind but cant tk d time 2 gv his creations d respect dey deserve.

A Shadow Cabinet is a pretty generic term for a behind the scenes unknown power group. And it seems that's how it's being used in Stormwatch, generically. This group isn't suddenly going to have it's own book, and nobody is referencing it as such except the characters in context in Stormwatch.
Outside it would have to be referred to as the Stormwatch Shadow Cabinet, or nobody would know what they were talking about.

I'm sure if the title of a team book was ever launched with the actual name Shadow Cabinet they'd reserve it for the already established Milestone team.

    @ Guicho:

    Really...?!?

    Common seriously?

Hw is it generic when d title specifically(in comix) relates 2 a very particular group?

Der is & has always been ONLY 1 Shadow Cabinet in comix & dats 2 1 from Milestone not d rip-off from Cornell which by d y he isnt using "generically(bleh-bleh)" by d way in Stormwatch bcuz it specifically is relating 2 d boss(es) of Stormwatch.

Ur analogy is as wrong as it is corrupted...y didnt DC & Marvel just settle 4 DC's Captain Marvel & Marvel's Captain Marvel den? Huh?
