I swear to God, WHY DOESN'T WARNER BROS. LET GRANT MORRISON DEVELOP GRANT MORRISON'S WORK TO ANIMATION INSTEAD OF PEOPLE WHO COMPLETELY MISS THE POINT OF HIS WORK!!!?!??

The omission of Leo Quintum GUARANTEES this animated move "adaptation" is going to be a piece of crap!

From the clips shown you can even see the humor that Morrison wrote into the character of Lois Lane is completely gone.

I knew from how awful "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths" was that Dwayne McDuffie is the WRONG person to adapt Grant Morrison's work. So much of the nuance and big ideas from JLA EARTH 2 were completely mangled or lost in the translation.

What the Hell is wrong with these goddamn Studio Execs?! Why are they physically incapable of understanding the genius of GRANT MORRISON.

Next thing you know they'll hire the no-talent hacks of Marvel Comics' Animation "efforts" handle the DC Animated Universe.

I think you need to sit down and have yourself a Zen moment.

These DC Direct movies are just adaptations of the stories, not direct representations. They're meant to appeal to the largest group of people and they are budgeted for time, which means they are necessarily going to be simplified and shortened. But that in no way tarnishes the original story, it's still there in all it's glory and you can read it when ever you like, and if you don't think this adaptation will suit your tastes you don't have to see it. Also you're welcome to say you don't think it will do well, but the hostility really isn't needed.

Funny, I'm almost positive Leo Quintum is in the All-Star Suprman movie.

By the way, the All-Star Superman DTV is an adaptation of the All-Star Superman comic book limited series, but "Justice League Crisis on 2 Earths" is an original story, not an adaptation of JLA EARTH 2. This may explain some of your confusion.

You've written some pretty great things, sir, but this might be one of the best. Hah.

I don't know, it looks like good fun to me.

Granted I've gotten too used to Clancy Brown as the ultimate voice of Luthor, but other then that minor whine, this looks like another really well done DC animated production.

At this point, given that their track record has far more good movies than bad ones, I would think that people would give these guys the benefit of the doubt.

It looks pretty good to me as well, I even like how they tried to imitate Frank Quitely's art as well with the more rounded look to Superman's chin. I'm really looking forward to this.

must say i'm little bit disappointed with the look of Superman. I had hoped they would copy Quitely's style better. With these lips, he could shave his head and look like Luthor.

Why do they insist on pronouncing "Luthor" like that with the stress on the "or"? It just sounds silly.

Awesome! It'll be here before ya know it! Can't wait.
I have this idea for the next X-teme Games Gold Medal Event--Bear Tickling. Its like Bull riding but more X-treme! You are timed on how long you can tickle a bear before he attacks you.
