The NYC premiere is on Valentines Day. I guess they know the core audience won't have dates that night.
What the fire truck is the title supposed to mean? In what manner is this an "All-Star" Superman?

It's based on the popular comic series by Grant Morrison entitled "All Star Superman" Madmike. And I'd appreciate it if you tried to reign in the four letter language in the future.
It's a direct to video animated feature based of the Award Winning mini-series "All-Star Superman" written by Grant Morrison and Penciled by Frank Quitely.
The "All-Star" line was DC's attempt to put top Talent on slightly out of coninuity stories featuring their most popular characers. The only other series they released was All-Star Batman and Robin, written by Frank Miller and drawn by Jim Lee.
Okay, sorry for the off-colour language, I run with a rough crowd, The kind that wear flannel shirts, and work boots.
Now I understand that this is based on a comic title meant to feature different top-tier talent on stories of Superman. But given that, does it make any sense as the title of a movie? The few comic fans who are familiar with this story would surely hear of its release through the fan press, even if it were re-titled more appropriately.
It makes sense to keep the title for marketing purposes, perhaps they hope people will go out and buy the book if they enjoy the movie. Beyond that it might just be that they like the sound of the title or see it as a way of paying respect to Grant and Frank for the great job they did.
Excited for this, Timm said it was his favourite yet... right before Superman/Batman Supergirl was released, so that makes me pretty confident it's going to be very good. I'm just curious, is the Superman Squad issue adapted? I can live without Bizarro and the replacement Kryptonians, but I would truly love to see that issue. Oh, and any word on Lois Lane's Superwoman issue? That would be awesome too.
I enjoy these and appreciate real animation nowadays.
Based on what I've seen and heard, these issues are in the cartoon:
1-3, 5, 11-12
The flashback story is not, unfortunately. I'm fairly certain bits of 10 should be in, but I doubt any of the others.
