Esper Quick Summary List
Codex RPG Character
I haven't seen the Rebuild movies, but I have watched my DVD's of the original series often. (Just not so often in recent months.) I find the characters very recognisable and relatable.
But I saw the promos and some of the scenes, the animation looks great.
From the front to the back, that's where I was at
You know, you know, the Schuimend Mormel do it like that
Sometimes you lose things which you don't expect losing. It doesn't make the hurt any less.
Series- Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
The original FMA anime was the one that really got me into the medium. It is of course an anime classic now. It also inspired me to pick up my first manga, Fullmetal Alchemist. The original anime and the manga are both great, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the manga/Brotherood. It had the complete story that Hiromu Arakawa wanted to say.
PLEASE don't talk about that movie that followed the original Anime. 'grimaces'
Movie- Rebuild of Evangelion 2.22. I despised The End of Evangelion. I'm glad this series is going away from that. I pray for an Earn Your Happy Ending. Let's face it: Shinji, Rei, and Asuka deserve it.
Please forgive the double post

Sometimes the lines get blurred. Sometimes the only thing between you and them is the mask and cape.
It's really hard for me to pick the "best" anime for the decade because there is so many different things to consider when picking one. Things such as do I go off of what I thought was my favorite? Do I have to go with the series that defined the era? The most popular? The most profitable? The anime with the best story? The best animation? The best characters? I mean, there are so many different factors in choosing an anime to represent the decade as it's best, but I will go about it by choosing my personal favorite anime series, which would most likely be Naruto. I'm not going to go from 2001-2010 though, I will go from 2000-2009 and consider 2010 a new decade and so far my favorite anime I've seen since 2010 would have to be either Guin Saga or Tears to Tiara, but I got another 7 or 8 years to make up my mind on this one so I won't make any choices just yet.
Death Note. The only work in any medium that worked better at building and maintaining suspense was 24.
For Movie: Spirited Away
For series: Definitely Avatar the Last Airbender. This addictive series sets the standard - amazing and gripping story with unique characters, strong character development and filled with history, philosophy, politics, and numerous cultural references. It also pays homage to the many series that came before it. The writers are geniuses.
In second: Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Dark, well written, and entertaining.
I'd also like to mention "Beck", which I thought was a great series about how hard it is to become a great band. It's also one of the few series were the fans are split on whether the english dubbed songs are better than the original Japanese songs.
But I think my favorite series this decade is "GiTS: SAC". I keep getting an itch to rewatch the whole thing every few months.
My favorite movies have been "Spirited Away" and "Summer Games". There's so much going on in "Summer Games", that I've literally seen something new in each of the 20 times I've watched it thus far.
