Absolutely. The Secret Wars and Super Powers toys are STILL some of my favorite toys and, honestly, for the most part, I prefer the Super Powers toys to the modern DC ones.
there's a lot of love for the Super Powers Collection. i remember seeing them in a collectables store and i really liked the packaging and sculpts. i ended up getting quite a few of them but over the years many of the comic books which came with them were lost -- not sure if they were stolen along with other things when our house got burgled or they were simply misplaced over the years.
really eager to visit toys r us since its been a little while since my last visit. hopefully the green lantern merchandise will be further discounted? the star wars racks were looking pretty bare too last time i visited -- what with xmas and all. havent seen much captain america merchandise either which is a little disppointing as i was expecting something along the lines of what they did for spiderman and batman - and numerous figures (in different sizes) to flood the market.
I'm sorry, but the Mobile Bat Lab is made from a VW Window Van?
No wonder they show Penguin on the box - he's about the only crook they could catch up to in that rig.
I have owned many VW Vans - love them - but if you filled one with a the outfittings of a crime lab, that thing would be lucky to break 10 MPH
recent buy Marvel Universe Psylocke

I'm pretty much constantly in the middle of chasing after a statue on e-bay or waiting for a UPS package containing one. Here's my most recent comic related statue: Atomic Robo!

I'm kinda snobby when it comes to my toys.. I guess it's probably more because I spend so much $ on them, I want anything I buy to be the absolute best it can possibly be. I won't buy a toy or statue that's not completely faithful to the source material, and it's gotta be unique. I don't like body parts with bending or moving parts unless they're seamless. I won't buy busts, I gotta have to whole deal, preferably in a sweet pose
It's a great time for superhero toys due to the Avengers movie. Was browsing the racks at local toy stores and there are some really good figures but also several electronic versions, which usually require opening the package so the batteries won't leak over time. Also noticed the Star Wars racks have been stocked better than usual at local stores, though most of the figures are from the first three movies.
Ill post a video of what I and my dad have later. Not much. Not too big into toys. Sooner would fund more comics or video games.
I have some super hero toys from the dollar store and my dad more horror themed toys.
I have a fancy Curio cabinet that I'm trying to fill up with display toys figures, busts, statues etc. once its filled up I'm pretty much done collecting toys and going back to video game collecting. Not even a big fan of the super hero comics but i tolerate the toys. Though id rather have video game themed toys.

Stores are getting in new figures for the upcoming Spider-Man movie but they are disappointing in terms of variety.
I was thinking the other day, this is probably the first Superman story I read:
Which I guess inspired me to get the Supermobile mentioned upthread.
Few of my other toys were really based on comic-book properties, although I did wear a Batman costume at Halloween.
