I was planning to buy a Thor's hammer from the current movie line to go with the Iron Man mask from the movie line & full-size Captain America shield I picked up at a Halloween store last year. Then I saw the size of the Nerf hammer Due to the tiny size I didn't buy it, and now refer to it as "Baby Thor's First Hammer". Hopefully the Halloween store or some place will have a full-size one available this fall for a resonable price.

about 2 years ago (?), maybe less, i was visiting one of my fave toy stores, sort of a mix of old and new toys, and saw this spidey figure which i liked quite a bit so bought. its never been out of the packet and is now packed away in storage.

The nerf one is small (being made for people with small hands, after all). However, there is a bigger and more expensive one that makes all sorts of storm sounds when you hit it (kind of like the famous foam "Hulk Hands").

this year i am hoping to get back into buying more toys especially as more people are moving away from comics. i love old comics but i love toys just as much. and its cool when you find an action figure you had as a kid and find it on sale. there used to be a very cool toy store i went to in the early 00's. awesome store with classic old toys. but they charged a fortune sadly, and went out of business. but boy what a rush to see all those old toys in the cabinets one final time!

I saw that one too, but I didn't like the look of (the nerf one looks better) and the head was this floppy shell of hollow, rubbery plastic.

Besides, with all the electronic stuff, you can't throw it at the cat.

bought this cool gl figure while shopping on the weekend. toys r us had a mega cool 12-inch gl figure in box but i had spent too much on a box of comics at the secondhand bookstore to afford everything. the thor range was woeful too. just a small thor figure.

surprisingly i didnt buy a hal jordan figure when i had the chance. i had thought i would jump at the chance to buy a hal jordan in civvy clothes or as green lantern but strangely i opted for sinestro and kilowog. toys r us didnt have tons of gl merchandise either but i guess the majority will come out when the movie is released? the thor range was very disappointing as well as the star wars range; with them getting the newer figures instead and veering away from the classics range.
