I have a few photos of toys that I would like to post. Do I have to wait a certain amount of time since I just registered? Also, is it correct that I have to create an album of photos first?

Nah, I think you can start posting right away, and I sure as hell don't have an album myself.

These guys I don't think had their own comics or show, but they're technically heroes and were a favorite of mine when I was a kid, probably some of my first non-Disney action figures:

Empty winds scrape on the soul never stop to realize/Animal whisperings intoxicate the night
Hypnotize the desperate slow motionlight/Wash away into the rain
    Blood, milk and sky....

I bought this small Captain America figure at a local toy store. It seemed a lot better than some of the larger figures. Plus it was cheaper.

There's a rumor that the 2008 revamped version of the Star Wars Millenium Falcon will be making a return to at least TRU....

A new Batman toyline has been released to selected stores -- Batman Power Attack. Saw them at a toy store today - they had Batman (various versions, including BlueSuit, GreySuit, also different colors) as well as Robin. There is also a Batmobile but that was a bit pricey ($30+ dollars). Anybody have more information about the toyline?

This line is what Mattel refers to as their "evergreen" Batman line, meaning that it is not tied to any movie or cartoon and can be on the shelves indefinitely. I have also seen a pretty cool Killer Croc and Mr. Freeze from this line.

Thanks for the information Dave 2739 -- apparently the Batman Power Attack Batmobile comes with a booklet showing some of the other figures in the toyline but I couldn't afford that. Maybe if its on sale I will buy it?

I saw those on the shelves. It looks like there's also supposed to be a Joker and a Two-Face, but I didn't see them on the rack.

Pretty excited for the 50th anniversary release of the Mars Attacks Heritage line next month:

They will also be releasing figures and all sorts of other stuff to celebrate the occasion. Check it all out here: http://www.facebook.com/MarsAttacks Stoked!

New Star Wars figures have been hitting the shelves at toy stores, this time The Vintage Collection Wave 11 which includes several (nicely scuplted and accessorised) Blu-ray deleted scenes. As money is tight, I only bought one of them (pics later), which was Luke Skywalker ROTJ (Lightsaber Construction). The sculpt is really good and the figure actually looks like Luke Skywalker which is always a plus. The card back is the usual popular design which pleases collectors too.

Anyone bought any figures for the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man movie? Toy stores are flooded with merchandise but many of the figures are ugly. Terrible designs too. Was hoping that they would do a magnetic Spider-Man like Mego did for Batman and Robin decades ago. That would be very good --- magnets on his hands and feet so you can hang him from surfaces. Many stores I have been to, haven't seen many people buying Spider-Man merchandise. I think money is tight so people are being cautious. Also some of the designs are just ugly, so people are cautious buying them and lots of kids are preferring Ben10 figures.

I think the last toy I bought was OMAC. There really hasn't been anything that's caught my eye, but I almost bought a Jake (from Adventure Time) last night. I wasn't really looking for them but I don't remember seeing any Spider-Man toys.

I want some of those The Goon toys from a few years ago, but I'm sure they're all way more than I'd want to spend.
