Can't be any worse than Morrison's work. Plus we get great art.

Doomwar # 5
I'm kind of interested in this too, but I don't read any other Batman titles. Is this in continuity, or does it matter?
Is the 3,99 price point only for this first issue or will it be ongoing? I would not mind picking this up, but...it is not 2,99.

Tee Hee, I can't wait. This looks awesome.
I was really suspect of Finch's writing but this looks good, I hope I'm wrong. Looks like a lot of fun. I will definitely get at least the first issue.
Way I understand it, it's going to be bumped down to $2.99 with the other titles in January. Of course, with the delays we were supposed to have #3 in January and not #2, so this one might not be until the next month, but either way the $3.99 tag is not going to be on it for long.
Anyway, not a bad interview and not a bad preview. I'll definitely give this book a shot.
Pull List: Action Comics, Green Lantern, GLC, GL: New Guardians, Justice League, The Flash, Batman Inc, Batman, Nightwing, Batman & Robin, Dial H, Animal Man, Frankenstien, Earth-2
good interview. and i like how his croc looks.
I'll give the 1st arc a chance
I'll give it a shot as well. in fact this title and Batman, Inc. being included in the DC price change is what sealed the deal for me dropping the last Marvel titles off my list. I'm not a company loyalist by any exchange, but it really feels like DC has the better writers, the better artists, and the better stories now so I am eager to see this take off.
My main concern is Finch, not because he's a bad guy, but because his books tend to be late. #3 was supposed to be here in January, not #1 on the very last week of the year. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to Return of Bruce Wayne #6 getting to the shelf late, but the pace that issues come out are my primary concern. I think the book itself should be great.
The lateness thing doesn't really bother me, because from the sound of it, this is really going to be in it's own little corner--this story is only going to be beholden to itself, not like the whole Morrison Return stuff, where things were stacked up and had to be put in a specific order.
That interview definitely makes it seem like scheduling wasn't his fault entirely. He said he was working on this book before the Return was given to him, so that obviously got in the way, and he had brightest day cover duty, a lot of which were paintings. And with the most recent issue of Brightest Day, he didn't do the cover, so he may be prioritizing.
Nevertheless, this book, I can live with the initial delays. Hopefully things get in line and the book can get on a good basis.
