CGI has advanced so much in the last decade since the first Spawn film, it might actually turn out okay. Visually at least.
I seem to remember something Todd was working on that is unfinished. Something about coming together and uniting. Wonder if he cleared his schedule for that?
I love Todd and love spawn even if all is not THE Spawn anymore. I'm gonna get issue 200 Hope he gets his ducks in a row and we get more spawn from toddy Mac.
this quote
is kind of indicative of how the industry is being used nowadays. A vehicle for something OTHER than a comic book."I've got another comic book that's in the works. I've got the first couple of scripts done, and we'll be introducing it next year. It's a kind of urban story I've been thinking about for a while that I think would make a hell of a TV show."
It looks like Todd M. is turning into Mark Millar. They both seem obsessed about turning comics into films and talking about how they have comic ideas that would make good movies or tv shows.
I hope that if he does write and direct a Spawn film, it doesn't turn out like Frank Miller's The Spirit.
I would really like to see another Spawn movie. The live action one was pretty awful. I'd even be happy with a solid animated movie, similar to the animated series.
